Lansing is a town in Ashe County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 126 at the 2020 census.

Lansing School is a historic school building located at Lansing, Ashe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1937-1938 by the Works Progress Administration, and is a two-story, 19 bay wide, building constructed of random coursed native granite blocks. The building features modest Colonial Revival style details. The building has a standing seam metal hipped roof with small gabled attic dormers. Also on the property is a two-story, four-bay, brick building built in 1952-53 to serve as high school classrooms.In 2020, the Lansing School was purchased by Lost Province Center for Cultural Arts (LPCCA), a nonprofit organization whose mission is "to bridge the urban-rural divide, revitalize our community and promote the cultural arts and skills of the Southern Appalachian region." LPCCA will focus on preserving and teaching three aspects of Southern Appalachian culture: arts and crafts, culinary arts, and music. The organization plans to restore the historic property to provide a spacious venue for classes, special events, sustainable multi‐use housing, a signature farm-to‐table restaurant and a showcase gallery, along with boutique apartments that can be rented by students, teachers, and tourists alike. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Clark-Miller Roller Mill, also known as the Davis-Clark Roller Mill and W.M. Miller Roller Mill, is a historic roller mill located near Lansing, Ashe County, North Carolina. It was built about 1915, and is a two- to three-story, banked frame with weatherboard siding and a metal roof. It rests on a poured concrete foundation and has a side-gabled roof. The building houses an Anglo-American (Midget) Marvel brand roller mill.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Also on the property is a contributing garage (c. 1930, c. 1950) and mill house / woodshed (c. 1920, c. 1935). The property is associated with local folk musicians Charles Miller and his son Howard.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

John W. Tucker House is a historic home located near Tuckerdale, Ashe County, North Carolina. It was built about 1883, and is a two-story, "T"-plan frame farmhouse with Greek Revival and Italianate style influences. The front facade features a two-tier porch. The house was restored in 1984.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Perry–Shepherd Farm, also known as the Swansie Shepherd Farm, is a historic home and farm complex located near Lansing, Ashe County, North Carolina. The complex includes the main dwelling, a caretaker's cottage, a barn, a warehouse, a granary, and three sheds surrounded by woodland, open pasture, and blueberry and apple orchards. The main house was built about 1890, and is a two-story, single-pile I-house with an original rear wing. It has a double-porch and Queen Anne style decorative elements.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
