Marden Hill

Pishiobury, sometimes spelled Pishobury, was a manor and estate in medieval Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Its denomination as "Pishiobury" only emerged in the mid to late 19th century.

Tewin Orchard and Hopkyns Wood is a 4.3-hectare (11-acre) nature reserve in Tewin in Hertfordshire. It is managed by the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.Tewin Orchard is an eighty-year old fruit orchard donated to the trust by its last private owner, Molly Hopkyns. It has a variety of Hertfordshire apple varieties, including the Hitchin Pippin, which was propagated from the last known tree. The orchard attracts many birds, such as fieldfares and redwings. Hopkyns Wood is dominated by oaks and hornbeams, with ground flora of bluebells and ramsons. It also has a mature badger sett.There is access from a footpath from Orchard Road.

Tewinbury is a 7.5-hectare (19-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest near Tewin in Hertfordshire. The local planning authority is East Hertfordshire District Council, and the site is managed by the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife TrustThe site borders the River Mimram. It has alluvial meadows and marshes which are rare in lowland Britain. There are areas of swamp and tall fens, with plants including butterbur and angelica. Otters have been observed on the riverbank, in possibly the only site in the county. There is also an area of ash and willow woodland. There is a lagoon which has a two storey hide for observing birds and water voles.Access to the site is in the drive to the Tewin Bury Farm Hotel on Hertford Road. There is a car park, which also serves the hotel, but no public access apart from the hide and a small area called Orchard Meadow behind the car park.

Cole Green is a hamlet in Hertfordshire, England. It is 1 mile (1.6 km) south-east of Welwyn Garden City just off the A414. It is in the Hertingfordbury Ward of East Herts District Council. Residents of note include Sky Sports boxing commentator Nick Halling. It formerly had a railway station on the Hertford and Welwyn Junction Railway.

Cole Green railway station was a station at Cole Green, Hertfordshire, England, on the Hertford and Welwyn Junction Railway. It was a passenger station from 1858 until 18 June 1951, also serving the hamlet of Letty Green.It is now a picnic spot on the Cole Green Way footpath and cycle trail.The station was used in the film The Lady with a Lamp (1951). Florence Nightingale arrives at the station near her home. The train is hauled by the early steam locomotive Lion, with three four-wheeler passenger coaches, two of them named Experience and Huskisson.

St John’s Church, Letty Green, the deconsecrated former parish church, is a grade II listed building, and Woolmer's Park country house is grade II* listed and was the source for the name of Woolmers Estate in Tasmania.

St John's Church, Letty Green, is a deconsecrated Gothic Revival church in Letty Green, Hertfordshire, England. The building was designed by George Fowler Jones. It was given a heritage listing (Grade II) in the 1960s. It went on the market in 2001 with planning permission for conversion to residential use. It has since been converted.

Hatfield Hyde Halt was a halt-layout railway station. The station was part of the Hertford and Welwyn Junction Railway, near the garden city of Welwyn, which was established in 1920, by which time Hatfield Hyde Halt had long been closed.
