Panshanger was a large country house located between the outer edge of Hertford and Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, England.

Marden Hill is a Grade II* listed country house close to the village of Tewin, Hertfordshire.The house, originally Jacobean but substantially rebuilt in the 18th-century and modified in the 19th, is built in two storeys with attics of yellow brick with Portland stone dressings. The floor plan is square with five bays and a two-storey Ionic entrance porch at the front.

Stapleford railway station was a station on the Hertford Loop Line, and was situated in the village of Stapleford, Hertfordshire, England.

Waterford is a village in the East Hertfordshire district of Hertfordshire, England. It is located on the A119 road, around 2.5 km (1.6 miles) north of Hertford. The River Beane flows through the village. It is in the civil parish of Stapleford. Waterford is most notable for the church of St Michael and All Angels, built by Robert and Isabel Smith in 1871/2, which has Pre-Raphaelite stained-glass windows from the Morris & Co. factory. They date from the church's original construction through to 1937 and include Miriam by Edward Burne-Jones. The church is listed as being of special architectural and historic interest (Grade II*). St Michael and All Angels is an excellent example of Victorian construction in the Early English Gothic style. It was financed by Robert Smith, owner of the Goldings estate close to the church. All wood used in constructing the church came from the Estate. The roof is lined with Broseley tiles and the bell tower and octagonal spire with cedar shingles. The porch is of oak construction. There are 14 stained-glass windows; eight by Burne-Jones, and others by William Morris, Douglas Strachan, Ford Madox Brown, Karl Parsons and Selwyn Image. Tracery above the three west windows was done by Philip Webb. Goldings is a Grade II* listed country house which was used as a Dr. Barnardo's Home between 1922 and 1967 and has now been converted to apartments. Several Barnardo's children are buried in St Michael's churchyard, which also contains graves of the Abel Smith family including Robert and Isabel Smith.

Pishiobury, sometimes spelled Pishobury, was a manor and estate in medieval Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Its denomination as "Pishiobury" only emerged in the mid to late 19th century.

Goldings Estate is a large Elizabethan style country house and surrounding land close to Waterford, north of Hertford, Hertfordshire, England. The house was designed by George Devey (1820–1886), constructed between 1871 and 1877, and is a Grade II* listed building.

Tewin is an English village and civil parish in Hertfordshire, England between the towns of Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Welwyn (village) and the county town Hertford, it is within commuting distance of London. Tewin Wood is a very affluent residential area in Tewin and ranked amongst the most expensive streets in the UK with average property prices in most streets well in excess of £1.5 million. The population of Tewin Parish was 1,438 according to the 2001 census, increasing to 1,487 at the 2011 Census. Tewin village has a population of approximately half that of the whole parish, 720.

Tewin Orchard and Hopkyns Wood is a 4.3-hectare (11-acre) nature reserve in Tewin in Hertfordshire. It is managed by the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.Tewin Orchard is an eighty-year old fruit orchard donated to the trust by its last private owner, Molly Hopkyns. It has a variety of Hertfordshire apple varieties, including the Hitchin Pippin, which was propagated from the last known tree. The orchard attracts many birds, such as fieldfares and redwings. Hopkyns Wood is dominated by oaks and hornbeams, with ground flora of bluebells and ramsons. It also has a mature badger sett.There is access from a footpath from Orchard Road.

The Sele School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Hertford, Hertfordshire, in the south east of England. The school is situated adjacent to the Sele Farm estate, a major housing area containing a mixture of private and housing association properties. The school serves the Hertford area, with pupils coming from local villages as well as the town. The Sele School is well known for its inclusive approach and success with students from both ends of the ability spectrum. The Sele School was the first school in the country to be awarded dual specialist school status in Performing Arts and Sport.
