Mall of Georgia is an enclosed super-regional shopping mall located in unincorporated Gwinnett County, Georgia, near the city of Buford, 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Atlanta. Opened in 1999, it is currently the largest shopping mall in both the Atlanta Metropolitan Area and the state of Georgia, consisting of more than two hundred stores on three levels. Featured in the mall is a large village section, comprising lifestyle tenants and restaurants in an outdoor setting, as well as a 500-seat amphitheater. In 2017 the Mall of Georgia renovated the indoor food court area by updating the seating arrangements, furniture styles, and color schemes. Mall of Georgia was built by and is still owned by Simon Property Group. A portion of the Ivy Creek Greenway runs along the shopping mall area. The anchor stores are Von Maur, Macy's, Dillard's, Belk, JCPenney, Havertys Furniture, Barnes & Noble, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Regal Cinemas.

Coolray Field (formerly known as Gwinnett Stadium) is a 10,427-seat minor league baseball park in unincorporated Gwinnett County, Georgia (with a mailing address in Lawrenceville). It is the home field of the Gwinnett Stripers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.

Lanier High School (LHS) is a public high school in Sugar Hill, Georgia, United States, and is a part of Gwinnett County Public Schools. It opened for classes on August 9, 2010. The Lanier school district is made up of Sycamore Elementary School, White Oak Elementary School, Sugar Hill Elementary School, Lanier Middle School, and Lanier High School.The athletic rivals of the LHS Longhorns are the Bulldogs of North Gwinnett High School. Lanier High School was football regional champion in the 2014–2015 school year. Other sports recognitions they have received are 1st place in competition cheer (2014-2015), 2nd place Marching Band (2013-2014), 3rd place Marching Band (2014-2015), 1st place Drumline (2013-2015), 1st place Drum Major (2013-2015) 3rd place Color Guard (2013-2014), 2nd place Color Guard (2014-2015), One Act theater regional champions (2015-2016) and boys' soccer Region 8-AAAAA Champions (2015-2016).

Sugar Hill is a city in northern Gwinnett County in the U.S. state of Georgia, included within the Metro Atlanta area. The population was 25,076 as of the 2020 census, making it the fourth-largest city in Gwinnett County. It is in close proximity to Lake Lanier and the foothills of the North Georgia mountains.

Collins Hill High School is a public high school in Gwinnett County, near Suwanee, Georgia, United States. The school is operated by Gwinnett County Public Schools. The only school which feeds into it is Creekland Middle School. Collins Hill was the biggest high school in Georgia when it first opened in 1994, and has since added 20 acres (81,000 m2). Its student population has grown from its original 1377 to a high of about 4,200, the current count being 3,155.

The Bona Allen Shoe and Horse Collar Factory, is a historic business location in Buford, Georgia. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 3, 2005. It is located at 554 West Main Street. It was the main factory building of the Bona Allen Company.

Mountain View High School is a public high school outside of Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. It is a part of Gwinnett County Public Schools. It opened for classes on August 10, 2009.

Reeves Thoroughbred Racing is a horse racing partnership headquartered in Suwanee, Georgia, formed in 2009 by Dean and Patti Reeves. The stable and ownership partners are the owners of 2013 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Mucho Macho Man.In September 2011, Dean Reeves hired Jonathan "Finn" Green to be the racing manager for the operation. Green worked closely with Kathy Ritvo in mapping the career of Mucho Macho Man. Ritvo has been the horse trainer for the race horses of the partnership since 2010.Mucho Macho Man was awarded the 2013 Secretariat Vox Populi Award, recognizing the struggles the horse had overcome in reaching success, as well as the accomplishments of his connections. He was also named Florida-bred Horse of the Year for 2013, noting that he was only the third Florida-bred horse to win the Classic, after Unbridled and Skip Away. His win in the Classic was also selected as the National Thoroughbred Racing Association's "Moment of the Year."The Reeves' are heavily involved with the Georgia Horse Racing Coalition, an organization with a mission to bring horse racing to Georgia. As of 2014, Dean Reeves is the president of the organization. Their work with the Georgia Horse Racing coalition has included commissioning studies on the economic benefits of horse racing for the state, and they began a lobbying effort with the 2014 state legislative session. The Governor, Nathan Deal, holds the position that an amendment to the Georgia state constitution would be required, as gambling is involved. Dean Reeves holds the position that parimutuel wagering is distinguishable from casino-style gambling.

The John Quincy Allen House is a historic residence in Buford, Georgia. Its architectural style is described as Georgian Revival architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. It is located at 345 East Main Street.Its Georgian Revival details include a Palladian portico with flower basket-and-garlands relief. It was home of John Quincy Allen (1880–1967), one of five children of Bona Allen, Sr. (1846–1925), builder of the Bona Allen Company. It was one of seven Allen family homes along the railroad that runs through the center of Buford, linking to the expansive Bona Allen Shoe and Horse Collar Factory.

The Bona Allen Mansion, also known as Bona Allen House, at 395 Main St. in Buford, Georgia, in Gwinnett County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was built in 1911. It was it home of Bona Allen, Sr. The listing included eight contributing buildings, including a smokehouse.Entrepreneur Steve Siebold and/or his companies bought the mansion in 2015.

It is owned by Davis Broadcasting and airs a Regional Mexican radio format. The programming is simulcast on 107.1 WTSH-FM in Aragon. WLKQ-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 4,200 watts. Its transmitter is off Radio Park Drive in Buford, near Interstate 985. WLKQ-FM broadcasts in the HD Radio hybrid format. Its HD2 subchannel carries a Christian Contemporary music format known as The JOY FM. Its programming is also heard on FM translator station W223CQ at 92.5 MHz in Lawrenceville.
