Xallas (river)

Mount Pindo (Galician: Monte Pindo) is a mountain located in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It is in the municipality of Carnota and province of A Coruna. Composed of granite, it has a height of 627m. It is of local mythological importance.

Mirador de Ézaro is a steep mountain road in Galicia, near Costa da Morte, in northern Spain. This road starts in the town of Ézaro (part of Dumbría municipality) by the river Xallas, and it reaches the summit by the homonymous viewpoint. The viewpoint has a magnificent vista of the mouth of the river Xallas, the slopes of granitic Mount Pindo, the cove of O Ézaro, the small Lobeiras islands and the unmistakable shape of Cape Fisterra in the background. It is considered a short but very demanding climb in professional road bicycle racing and is often used in the Vuelta a España stage race and UCI Gran Fondo World Series.

Ézaro (officially known as O Ézaro (Santa Uxía)) is a parish part of the municipality of Dumbría, in the province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia of northwestern Spain. It belongs to the comarca of Fisterra. It had a population of 600 inhabitants in 2019.

It has an area of 66.4 km2, a population of 5,285 (2004 estimate) and a population density of 79.59 people/km2. It is famous because of its majestic hórreo, granary, the largest one in the world. It has a Baroque style and dates back to 1768. Carnota is also very famous for its more than 7 km long beach, being the longest in the region of Galicia, and Mount Pindo.

Tremuzo is a summit in the mountain range that limits the Galician ria Ría de Muros e Noia to the north and the highest elevation in the municipality of Outes. If forms the highest elevation close to the sea in that range and therefore offers excellent views to the ria and the Serra da Barbanza mountain range at the other side of the ria. The summit can be reached as an easy hike or as a mountain-bike tour from Ribeira do Freixo.

O Freixo de Sabardes or O Freixo is a village and parish in the Outes Mountain range (Serra de Outes in Galician), which is in the county of Outes, which is in the province of A Coruña, Galiza. In 2012 the population was 991 residents (483 men and 508 women), which was a decrease of 31 from 2011. The local saint, St John the Evangelist (San Xoán Evanxelista in Galician) is celebrated on 27 of December.

Outes is a municipality in the province of A Coruña in the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain. It has a population of 6,155 (Spanish 2020 Census) and an area of 100 km². The Cando event happened in 1994 within the boundaries of Cando, in the parish of San Tirso. The municipality has five peaks ranging over 500 m, the highest being Monte Tremuzo.
