Vall d'Hebron University Hospital

Vall d'Hebron is a neighborhood in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.Four venues in the area hosted competitions for the 1992 Summer Olympics.The Barcelona Metro line L3 stations of Vall d'Hebron, Montbau and Mundet are all situated on the northern boundary of the neighbourhood, under the Ronda de Dalt. Vall d'Hebron station is also served by line L5.Despite its name, the Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron is not in the neighborhood of la Vall d'Hebron, but rather in the neighborhood of Montbau, on the other side of Ronda de Dalt. The hospital is a health campus that brings together four specialties: the university hospital, the research institute, the oncology institute and finally the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Catalonia.

The Pavelló de la Vall d'Hebron (English: Vall d'Hebron Pavilion) is an indoor venue located in Barcelona, Spain. The building was completed in 1991 for the Games. For the 1992 Summer Olympics, it hosted the basque pelota demonstration and the volleyball preliminaries. For the 1992 Summer Paralympics, it hosted goalball, a team sport designed specifically for athletes with a vision impairment.

Montbau is a neighborhood in the Horta-Guinardó district of the city of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.In the eastern part of the neighborhood there is the campus Mundet, which had been the old Llars Mundet that was a charitable organization. In the campus there is the School of Psychology and pedagogy of the University of Barcelona, a geriatric home and schools. In the western part there is the Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron. The Barcelona Metro line L3 stations of Vall d'Hebron, Montbau and Mundet are all situated on the southern boundary of the neighbourhood, under the Ronda de Dalt. Vall d'Hebron station is also served by line L5.

The station is served by line L3.The station is located underneath the Passeig de la Vall d'Hebron and the Ronda de Dalt expressway, between Carrer de l'Arquitectura and Carrer Pare Mariana. The station has a single ticket hall with two entrances; as the station is on a mountainside, one of the entrances is actually below the ticket hall level, requiring passengers to climb stairs up, but in August 2009 a new entrance has been open with no stairs to climb. There are two 91-metre (299 ft) long side platforms.The station was opened in 1985, when the section of line L3 from Lesseps station was inaugurated. It remained the terminus of the line until the extension to Canyelles station opened in 2001.

Like both these two stations, the platforms of the two lines at Vall d'Hebron are connected by an underground passageway. However, there is no track connection between the two lines at Vall d'Hebron. There are depots for both lines adjacent to the station.The station was opened in 1985, when the section of line L3 between Lesseps and Montbau stations was inaugurated. The line L5 section of the station was opened on 30 July 2010, when the extension from Horta station opened.

The Recinte Mundet, also known as the Llars Mundet, Hogares Mundet or Campus Mundet, is an area of the Spanish and Catalan city of Barcelona, within the district of Horta-Guinardó and neighbourhood of Montbau. It originally housed a charitable institution, founded in 1957 by the Catalan-Mexican philanthropist Artur Mundet, which cared for orphans, the elderly, sick and needy. Today it houses a campus of the University of Barcelona, together with various educational and social services of the Barcelona Provincial Council. Mundet station, on line L3 of the Barcelona Metro, is 5 minutes walk from the campus.

Mundet is a Barcelona Metro station, in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona, which takes its name from the Recinte Mundet, an adjacent area that now houses a campus of the University of Barcelona. The station is served by line L3.The station is located underneath the Passeig de la Vall d'Hebron and the Ronda de Dalt expressway, between Avinguda de Can Marcet and Passeig dels Castanyers. Access to the station is provided by an underground passageway allowing passengers to cross under the Ronda de Dalt; access is by stairs, escalators, and elevators north of the station, and level to the south, allowing the station to be supplied with natural light. One level below the passageway is a single 100-metre (330 ft) long island platform served by two flanking tracks.The station was opened in 2001, when the section of line L3 from Montbau station to Canyelles station was inaugurated. It was designed by Ventura Valcarce.

Parc de la Creueta del Coll (IPA: [ˈpaɾɡ də lə kɾəˈwɛtə ðəl ˈkɔʎ]; "Park of the Corner of the Hill") is a park in the Gràcia and Horta districts of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The park was created from an abandoned quarry as part of the nou urbanisme developments during the 1992 Summer Olympics by architects Martorell, Bohigas and Mackay.The park contains the sculpture Elogi de l'Aigua, by Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida, a massive concrete claw suspended by steel cables above a flooded quarry. Another steel sculpture, Escultura (English: Totem) by Ellsworth Kelly is near the entrance gate.
