Grey Area is a Paris-based editions and multiples project specialising in commissioning and producing original contemporary art. Founded in 2006, Grey Area works directly with artists, inviting them to come up with ideas especially suitable for development and production as a limited edition multiple, resulting in an exhibition at the gallery space in Paris, France.

The Mazas Prison (French: Prison de Mazas) was a prison in Paris, France. Designed by architect Émile Gilbert, it was inaugurated in 1841 and located near the Gare de Lyon. The building was destroyed in 1900.

Gare de Lyon (French pronunciation: ​[ɡaʁ də ljɔ̃]) is a station on Line 1 and Line 14 of the Paris Métro. It is connected to the Gare de Lyon mainline rail and RER platforms within one complex and is the third-busiest station on the network with 30.91 million entering passengers in 2004, made up of 15.78 million on Line 1 and 15.13 million on Line 14.

Established in 1973, the École supérieure d'études cinématographiques (ESEC) (English: College of Cinematography) is a professional school in the fields of film and audiovisual techniques, and the use of multimedia applied to audiovisual works. Through its programs, ESEC prepares its candidates for careers in: directing for film & video, film & video production, video editing & digital special effects for film & video.ESEC delivers its own diplomas in cinematography and audiovisual techniques. Registered with the Ministry of Education in 1973, member of the FEMIS national college since 1986 until 1998, ESEC is a professional school, training students in the fields of cinema, audiovisual mediums, and multimedia applied to various audiovisual mediums. As with other national schools, ESEC delivers its own diplomas in cinematography and audiovisual techniques, which are French and international diplomas at level II. These diplomas are recognized as among the most important diplomas delivered in France and are recognized by other universities and professional schools in France and abroad, including in 70 other countries. Notably in the USA, at USC (U. of Southern California), UCLA (U. of C. Los Angeles) and NYU (New York University).

The Gare de Lyon rail accident occurred on 27 June 1988, when an SNCF commuter train headed inbound to Paris's Gare de Lyon terminal crashed into a stationary outbound train, killing 56 and injuring 60, resulting in the third deadliest rail disaster in peacetime France.

The Gare de Lyon (English: Lyon station), officially Paris-Gare-de-Lyon, is one of the six large mainline railway stations in Paris, France. It handles about 148.1 million passengers annually according to the estimates of the SNCF in 2018, with SNCF railways and RER D accounting for around 110 million and 38 million on the RER A, making it the second-busiest station of France after the Gare du Nord and one of the busiest in Europe. The station is located in the 12th arrondissement, on the right bank of the river Seine, in the east of Paris. Opened in 1849, it is the northern terminus of the Paris–Marseille railway. It is named after the city of Lyon, a stop for many long-distance trains departing here, most en route to the South of France. The station is served by high-speed TGV trains to Southern and Eastern France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Spain. The station also hosts regional trains and the RER and also the Gare de Lyon Métro station. Main line trains depart from 32 platforms in two distinct halls: Hall 1, which is the older train shed, contains tracks labelled with letters from A to N, while the modern addition of Hall 2 contains tracks which are numbered from 5 to 23. There are a further four platforms for the RER underneath the main lines.

Le Train Bleu ("The Blue Train") is a restaurant located in the hall of the Gare de Lyon railway station in Paris, France. It was designated a Monument Historique in 1972. The restaurant was originally created for the Exposition Universelle (1900). Each ornate dining room is themed to represent cities and regions of France and they are decorated with 41 paintings by some of the most popular artists of that time. Initially called "Buffet de la Gare de Lyon", it was renamed "Le Train Bleu" in 1963, after the famous train of the same name.

The Petit Musée de l'Argenterie is a privately operated museum of decorative arts made of silver located within the Ateliers du Cuivre et de l'Argent, Viaduc des Arts, 109-113, Avenue Daumesnil, Paris, France. The museum is located in the Bercy district in the 12th arrondissement. The nearest Paris Métro stop is Reuilly-Diderot on Line 1 and Line 8. It is open daily except Sundays and holidays; an admission fee is charged. The museum contains a small collection of silver objects for tableware, wine, tea, tobacco, and fashion, such as a combined fork-knife for one-armed people, chop holders, marrow pullers, moustache spoons, pomanders, etc.

The Faubourg Saint-Antoine was one of the traditional suburbs of Paris, France. It grew up to the east of the Bastille around the abbey of Saint-Antoine-des-Champs, and ran along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine.

The Institut de l'audition is a laboratory of the Pasteur Institute (Paris) working on basic and medical research on hearing, inaugurated on February 27, 2020, by Prime Minister Édouard Philippe. It is a unité mixte de recherche between the Institut Pasteur and Inserm which includes scientific staff from the Institut Pasteur, Inserm and CNRS. It benefits from the support and financial support of the Fondation pour l'audition.The Institut de l'audition aims to bring together doctors, researchers but also innovation players, industrialists, associations and patients.

Ledru-Rollin (French pronunciation: ​[lədʁy ʁɔlɛ̃]) is a station on Line 8 of the Paris Métro. It is located at the intersection of the Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine and Avenue Ledru-Rollin (after which it is named), on the border between the 11th arrondissement and 12th arrondissement.
