Asheville High School

Asheville–Buncombe Technical Community College (A-B Tech) is a public community college in Asheville, North Carolina. Established in 1959, the college is one of the oldest in the North Carolina Community College System and serves Buncombe and Madison counties across five different campuses, although students from anywhere may enroll. As of the 2014–15 school year, the curriculum enrollment was 10,070 and continuing education enrollment was 14,053 students. As of 2019–20, the college is the seventh largest in the North Carolina system and the largest in Western North Carolina. A-B Tech offers more than 120 degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

The Smith-McDowell House is a c. 1840 brick mansion located in Asheville, North Carolina. It is one of the "finest antebellum buildings in Western North Carolina." Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it was the first mansion built in Asheville and is the oldest surviving brick structure in Buncombe County. Since October, 2023, the building is home to Asheville Museum of History.

It was built in 1923, and is a two-story, rectangular brick structure, with a one-story wing added in 1927. It has a central doorway flanked by storefronts. It was the home of Biltmore Hardware, a business that existed in Biltmore Village from about 1936 to 2000.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Biltmore Village Cottages are two historic homes formerly located at Biltmore Village, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. They were designed by Richard Sharp Smith and built about 1900. The dwellings are pebbledash finished half-timbered cottages. They were moved outside the district in August 1983.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Biltmore Estate Office is a historic office building located at Biltmore Village, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was designed by architect Richard Morris Hunt and built in 1896. It is a 1 1/2-story pebbledash finished building with a hipped roof, half-timbering, brick trim, and chamfered and bracketed porch posts.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

It is a small one-story pebbledash finished building with a clipped gable roof and half-timbering.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Biltmore Industries, Inc., also known as Biltmore Homespun Shops, is a historic industrial complex located adjacent to the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina, now known as Grovewood Village. Biltmore Industries was started by Eleanor Vance and Charlotte Yale, missionaries who moved to Asheville, NC in 1901. The complex of seven buildings were built about 1917 by Fred Loring Seely, and are constructed of hollow ceramic tile with stuccoed exterior wall surfaces. The buildings are The Eleanor Vance Building (1917), Charlotte Yale Building (1917), Carding and Spinning Building (1917), (Former) Weavers' Building (now Antique Car Museum) (1923), Boiler House (1917), Gatehouse (former Woodworking Building), and Guardhouse (1917). The complex produced high-quality crafts and fine hand-woven wool cloth. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Biltmore–Oteen Bank Building is a historic bank building located at Biltmore Village, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built between 1925 and 1930, and is a two-story, brick building with Colonial Revival / Georgian Revival design details. It is a thin, wedge-shaped building featuring concrete detail and Doric order type pilasters. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Biltmore Village Commercial Buildings is a set of two historic commercial buildings located at Biltmore Village, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. They were designed by architect Richard Sharp Smith and built about 1900. Included is a 1 1/2-story pebbledash finished building with a gable roof and half-timbering and a small one-story building that originally housed the Biltmore Village Post Office.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Southern Railway Passenger Depot is a historic train station located at Biltmore Village, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was designed by architect Richard Morris Hunt and built in 1896 for the Southern Railway. It is a one-story symmetrical structure with a low hipped roof, central porte cochere, wide overhanging eaves, half-timbering, and a pebbledash finish.The station replaced a smaller building that preceded Cornelius Vanderbilt's purchase of land to comprise the Biltmore Estate. The Southern Railway Depot on Depot St. in Asheville was closed in 1968 due to costs and was demolished in early 1969. After this the Biltmore station served as Asheville's station until passenger train service was discontinued in early August of 1975. The station now houses a restaurant. If passenger service to Asheville is restored, a new station will be built.The station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
