Snohomish High School

Snohomish is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The population was 9,098 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Snohomish River, southeast of Everett and northwest of Monroe. Snohomish lies at the intersection of U.S. Route 2 and State Route 9. The city's airport, Harvey Airfield, is located south of downtown and used primarily for general aviation. The city was founded in 1859 and named Cadyville after pioneer settler E. F. Cady and renamed to Snohomish in 1871. It served as county seat of Snohomish County from 1861 to 1897, when the county government was relocated to Everett. Snohomish has a downtown district that is renowned for its collection of antique shops and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Harvey Airfield, also known as Harvey Field (FAA LID: S43), is a privately owned, public-use airport in the northwest United States, located in Snohomish, Washington, northeast of Seattle. The airfield has one 2,671-foot (814 m) asphalt runway, one 2,430-foot (740 m) turf runway, and fourteen hangar bays. It covers an area of approximately 145 acres (0.23 sq mi; 0.59 km2), and is home to 261 based aircraft, including 9 helicopters and 9 multi-engine planes, as well as 19 businesses including a hot-air balloon charter business.It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a regional reliver facility.

Washington's 44th legislative district is one of forty-nine districts in Washington state for representation in the state legislature.The district covers a large area mostly east of Everett, including the cities of Maltby, Mill Creek and Snohomish.The district's legislators include state senator John Lovick and two state representatives, Brandy Donaghy (position 1) and April Berg (position 2), all of whom are members of the Democratic Party.This seat was once held by future U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, from January 12, 1987, to January 3, 1993.

The Snohomish County Centennial Trail is a 30-mile-long (48 km) rail trail in Snohomish County, Washington, connecting the cities of Snohomish, Lake Stevens, and Arlington to Skagit County along the corridor of Washington State Route 9. The trail, administered by Snohomish County Parks and Recreation, is on the former right-of-way of the Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railway and comprises a 10-foot-wide (3.0 m) non-motorized trail and a 6-foot-wide (1.8 m) equestrian trail. The first segment of the corridor was opened in 1989, the centennial of the statehood of Washington, and the final segment between Arlington and the Skagit County line was opened in 2013.

The Pilchuck River (Lushootseed: dxʷkʷiƛ̕əb) is a river in Snohomish County in the U.S. state of Washington. It is a tributary of the Snohomish River. The name is derived from the Chinook Jargon pilpil ("blood", "red") and chuck ("water"), or "red water". The Lushootseed name means "flowing red," kʷiƛ̕ being an archaic term for "red" in Northern Lushootseed.

Northwest Snohomish is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The population was 2,061 at the 2000 census. The CDP ceased to exist at the 2010 census, with some parts having been annexed by Snohomish and other parts going to the new Fobes Hill CDP.

Fobes Hill is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The population was 2,418 at the 2010 census. Fobes Hill is a middle class residential community located along Fobes Road, northwest of the city of Snohomish.

Bunk Foss is a census-designated place (CDP) in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,570 at the 2010 census. Bunk Foss was created out of the former West Lake Stevens CDP in 2010.

KRKO (1380 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Everett, Washington. The station broadcasts a classic hits radio format to the Seattle metropolitan area. The station was established in 1922, and is currently owned by S-R Broadcasting Co., Inc., a locally-based company. KRKO broadcasts on a regional frequency of 1380 kHz with 50,000 watts, the maximum power for United States AM radio stations. The signal is non-directional during daytime hours, but employs a directional antenna at night, in order to avoid interfering with other stations. KRKO broadcasts using HD Radio technology alongside its analog signal. Programming is also heard on a 250-watt FM translator, K237GN at 95.3 MHz in Everett.
