Silver Hill (New Jersey)

The Hixson–Skinner Mill Complex, also known as Cole's Grist Mill Complex, encompasses a historic grist mill and two houses located where Still Valley Road crosses the Pohatcong Creek, about one half mile east of Springtown, in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1982 for its significance in commerce and industry. It includes 4 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures.

The Kennedy House and Mill are historic buildings located at 306 NJ 173 near Pohatcong Creek in Greenwich Township, Warren County, New Jersey. They were added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 16, 1996 for their significance in architecture, politics/government and industry. The area of Stewartsville, New Jersey is also called Kennedy Mills.The two-story Kennedy House was built c. 1815–1825 of coursed rubble stone construction in a Federal architecture style. The two and one-half story gristmill, located along the Pohatcong Creek, is also of rubble stone construction.

Springtown is an unincorporated community located at the intersection of Springtown Road (County Route 519) and the Pohatcong Creek in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. It was named after the many small springs in the valley.

The Hixson–Mixsell House, also known as the Springtown Stagecoach Inn, is a historic building at 157 County Route 519 in the village of Springtown, in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. The main block was built c. 1836–1840, with a rear wing built between c. 1790 and 1840. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 12, 2014 for its significance in architecture.

The Riegel Ridge Community Center is a historic building located on County Route 519 in the Riegel Ridge section of Holland Township near Milford in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 7, 1996, for its significance in architecture, entertainment and social history.

Greenwich Township () is a township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 5,473, a decrease of 239 (−4.2%) from the 2010 census count of 5,712, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,347 (+30.9%) from the 4,365 counted in the 2000 census.Greenwich Township has at various times been a part of most of Northwestern New Jersey's counties. The township was first mentioned in official documents on October 9, 1738, as a part of Hunterdon County. On March 15, 1739, it became part of the newly formed Morris County. On January 22, 1750, portions of the township were taken to form Hardwick Township. On June 8, 1753, Sussex County was created, and Greenwich Township was shifted again. Portions of the township were taken on May 30, 1754, to form both Mansfield Township and Oxford Township. The township was incorporated by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 21, 1798. It found its current home when Warren County was formed on November 20, 1824. On April 8, 1839, portions of the township were taken to create Franklin Township and Harmony Township. On March 7, 1851, Phillipsburg was created from parts of Greenwich, and Pohatcong Township went off on its own as of January 1, 1882. The township was named for Greenwich, England.

Alpha is a borough in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 2,328, a decrease of 41 (−1.7%) from the 2010 census count of 2,369, which in turn reflected a decline of 113 (−4.6%) from the 2,482 counted in the 2000 census.Alpha was incorporated as a borough from portions of Pohatcong Township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature passed on June 26, 1911, and signed by Governor Woodrow Wilson, based on the results of a referendum held on May 31, 1911. The borough was named for the Alpha Cement Works.

Hughesville is an unincorporated community located along the border of Holland Township in Hunterdon County and Pohatcong Township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is named after Hugh Hughes, a lawyer from Philadelphia, who built a forge here during the 18th century.The Hughesville Dam on the Musconetcong River was removed in 2016 to allow American shad to spawn further upriver.
