Alba Vineyard is an American winery in the Finesville section of Pohatcong Township in Warren County, New Jersey. Formerly a dairy farm, the vineyard was first planted in 1980, and opened to the public in 1982. Alba is one of the larger winegrowers in New Jersey, having 42 acres of grapes under cultivation, and producing 11,000 cases of wine per year. The winery is named for the Italian word alba which means "dawn," the time of day when the original owner first conceived of producing wine.

The Seigle Homestead is a historic house built c. 1793 and located along Riegelsville-Warren Glen Road in Finesville of Pohatcong Township, the only surviving two story log house in Warren County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 1977 for its significance in architecture and social history.

As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 3,241, a decrease of 98 (−2.9%) from the 2010 census count of 3,339, which in turn reflected a decline of 77 (−2.3%) from the 3,416 counted in the 2000 census.The name Pohatcong is thought to be derived from the Lenni Lenape Native American term meaning "stream between split hills".

Volendam Windmill is a smock mill located on Adamic Hill Road in Holland Township, New Jersey, United States. The windmill was designed and built in 1965 by Paul and May Jorgenson, using windmills they had seen in Denmark and The Netherlands as models. The Volendam Windmill Museum is a working mill driven by wind, used for grinding raw grain into flour. The 60-foot structure is seven stories high with sail arms 68 feet from tip to tip. In 2007, two of the sail arms of the windmill were damaged in a windstorm. As of 2021, the county's website shows that the museum is closed.

The Hixson–Mixsell House, also known as the Springtown Stagecoach Inn, is a historic building at 157 County Route 519 in the village of Springtown, in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. The main block was built c. 1836–1840, with a rear wing built between c. 1790 and 1840. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 12, 2014 for its significance in architecture.

Springtown is an unincorporated community located at the intersection of Springtown Road (County Route 519) and the Pohatcong Creek in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. It was named after the many small springs in the valley.

The high school also serves students from four other sending communities: Alpha, Bloomsbury (in Hunterdon County), Greenwich Township and Lopatcong Township. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,650 students and 126.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.0:1.

Amsterdam is an unincorporated community located within Holland Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located on the southern flank of the Musconetcong Mountain, the area was settled in the first half of the 18th century. It was later named after Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Amsterdam Historic District, encompassing the community, was listed on the state and national registers of historic places in 1995.

Carpentersville is an unincorporated community located in Pohatcong Township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.Carpentersville is located on the east bank of the Delaware River, 6 mi (9.7 km) south of Phillipsburg. Pohatcong Creek flows into the Delaware River south of Carpentersville.

The George Hunt House is a historic building located southwest of Alpha at 135 Warren Glen Road in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. It was built c. 1825 near the confluence of the Musconetcong River with the Delaware River. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 12, 1979, for its significance in architecture.

Alpha is a borough in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 2,328, a decrease of 41 (−1.7%) from the 2010 census count of 2,369, which in turn reflected a decline of 113 (−4.6%) from the 2,482 counted in the 2000 census.Alpha was incorporated as a borough from portions of Pohatcong Township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature passed on June 26, 1911, and signed by Governor Woodrow Wilson, based on the results of a referendum held on May 31, 1911. The borough was named for the Alpha Cement Works.
