The Alpha School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Alpha, in Warren County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 211 students and 24.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.6:1. In the 2016–17 school year, Alpha had the 42nd smallest enrollment of any school district in the state, with 194 students.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "B", the second lowest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. Springtown is an unincorporated community located at the intersection of Springtown Road (County Route 519) and the Pohatcong Creek in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. It was named after the many small springs in the valley.

The Hixson–Mixsell House, also known as the Springtown Stagecoach Inn, is a historic building at 157 County Route 519 in the village of Springtown, in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. The main block was built c. 1836–1840, with a rear wing built between c. 1790 and 1840. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 12, 2014 for its significance in architecture.

Upper Pohatcong is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Pohatcong Township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that was defined as part of the 2010 United States Census. As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 1,781.

The Hixson–Skinner Mill Complex, also known as Cole's Grist Mill Complex, encompasses a historic grist mill and two houses located where Still Valley Road crosses the Pohatcong Creek, about one half mile east of Springtown, in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1982 for its significance in commerce and industry. It includes 4 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures.

St. James Lutheran Church, also known as Straw Church, is a historic church built in 1834 and located at 1213 U.S. Route 22 in Pohatcong Township, Warren County, New Jersey. St. James Lutheran Cemetery is located across the street in Greenwich Township. The church and cemetery were added as a historic district to the National Register of Historic Places on October 24, 2016 for their significance in architecture and exploration/settlement. The adjoining building, Fellowship Hall, and the schoolhouse by the cemetery entrance are not part of this listing. The one-room brick schoolhouse, built 1858, is listed separately on the state register.

The Interstate 78 Toll Bridge (I-78 Toll Bridge) carries Interstate 78 across the Delaware River between Williams Township, Pennsylvania and Phillipsburg, New Jersey in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey in the United States. The bridge opened on November 21, 1989 and is operated by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC). As of 2008, the bridge carried an average of 56,100 vehicles daily.The span has an overall length of 1,222 feet (372 m) and is a twin four girder span. A toll is charged only for traffic heading west into Pennsylvania. The toll plaza has four conventional lanes and two Express E-ZPass lanes. Just after the toll plaza is the Pennsylvania Welcome Center.The jurisdiction of the DRJTBC for the bridge extends between the first interchange on either side of the bridge, which includes 2.2 miles (3.5 km) west along I-78 to just west of exit 75 in Pennsylvania and 4.2 miles (6.8 km) east in New Jersey to exit 3.

Phillipsburg Mall was an indoor shopping mall located along U.S. Route 22 in Warren County, New Jersey, United States. Despite its name, the mall was actually located on the border of Lopatcong Township and Pohatcong Township, just east of Phillipsburg. The mall was located on the eastern edge of the Lehigh Valley, the metropolitan area of Allentown, Pennsylvania. The mall's anchor store was Kohl's. There were 3 other anchor stores that were once The Bon-Ton, Sears, and Black Rose Antiques & Collectibles. As of February 2021, the mall is scheduled to be demolished in the near future.

Pohatcong Township is a township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 3,241, a decrease of 98 (−2.9%) from the 2010 census count of 3,339, which in turn reflected a decline of 77 (−2.3%) from the 3,416 counted in the 2000 census.The name Pohatcong is thought to be derived from the Lenni Lenape Native American term meaning "stream between split hills".

Greenwich is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Greenwich Township in Warren County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that was defined as part of the 2010 United States Census. As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 2,755.

The notice to residents announcing the feasibility study stated that the Greenwich district was chosen based on the quality of its academic programs, shared superintendent and business administrator, proximity, financial stability and shared sending relationship with Phillipsburg for high school.
