River's Edge, Saskatchewan

Discovery Ridge is an organized hamlet within the Rural Municipality (RM) of Corman Park No. 344 in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is on the north side of Highway 5 approximately 16 km (9.9 mi) east of downtown Saskatoon.

Aspen Ridge is a neighbourhood located in northeast Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, construction on which began in 2014. At full build-out, Aspen Ridge will eventually house an estimated 13,000 people. Unlike many of the city's suburban neighbourhoods, it will feature higher density housing on a grid network of roads.

Wanuskewin Heritage Park is an archaeological site and non-profit cultural and historical centre of the First Nations just outside the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The faculty's name comes from the Cree language word ᐋᐧᓇᐢᑫᐃᐧᐣ or wânaskêwin, meaning, "being at peace with oneself". The site is a National Historic Site of Canada due to the importance of its archaeological resources representing nearly 6000 years of the history of the Northern Plains peoples. In 2016, it was announced that Wanuskewin intends to seek UNESCO World Heritage designation, which would make it the first World Heritage Site in Saskatchewan.

The Chief Mistawasis Bridge (known as the North Commuter Parkway Bridge prior to June 2018) is a girder bridge in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The bridge officially opened on Oct. 2, 2018, and extends McOrmond Drive across the South Saskatchewan River to connect to Marquis Drive, providing a commuter bypass connecting communities on Saskatoon's northeast and eastern sides more directly to industrial and business development on the city's north. Construction of this bridge, located in the northern portion of the city, was financed in concert with construction of replacement for the 1907 Traffic Bridge in the downtown core, which was closed in 2010; that project was opened to traffic on October 3, 2018.In July 2016 officials announced that, when the bridge was complete, it would be given a name tied to Canada's indigenous peoples. The bridge was officially named the Chief Mistawasis Bridge, in honour of Mistawasis, the head of the Prairie Tribe and signer of Treaty 6 in 1876, at a ceremony on June 21, 2018.In March of 2017 CBC News described how a berm constructed in the river bed, to channel water around where the bridge's piers were being built was providing an opportunity for urban surfers. Officials warned thrill-seekers that construction made the water near the bridge extra hazardous.With its bridge-deck 21.6 metres (71 ft) above the river, it is Saskatoon's second highest bridge.

The Forestry Farm Park and Zoo is a forested park and zoo located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The park was originally established as the Dominion Forest Nursery Station and later Sutherland Forest Nursery Station. Between 1913 and 1966 was responsible for growing and shipping 147 million trees shipped across the northern prairie provinces. The first shipment of trees were sent to farmers in 1916. The park is designated a National Historic Site of Canada. The nursery grew caragana, ash, maple, elm, and willow. After the nursery closed in 1966 a portion was re-opened as a city park. The park contains the following areas: Forestry Farm House (The Superintendent's Residence) – is a historical farm house of a Georgian brink design built in 1913 located within the park. The building was officially designated a heritage property on July 3, 1990. Hall – With a capacity of 225 people Gazebo Picnic Site – With seating for up to 100 people Fishing Pond – A Pond stocked with Rainbow Trout (daily permit required) Kinsmen Express Zoo Train – Guided tour through the zoo area Paws Inn Concession and Gift Shop – A Concession Stand and Gift Shop operated by the Zoo Society Meditation Garden – Cared for by the Perennial Society Heritage Rose Garden – Cared for by the Perennial Society Zoo – The zoo facilities Demonstration Forest – Original demonstration forest once part of the nursery.Developed long before any major residential development in the region, since the 1990s the park has been virtually surrounded by Saskatoon's urban sprawl, casting the Forestry Farm, along with several contiguous linear parks, in an additional role as part of the region's greenbelt.

Saskatoon Silver Springs was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. The district included the neighbourhoods of Silverspring, Forest Grove, Evergreen, Willowgrove, Erindale and Arbor Creek. This constituency was created by the Representation Act, 2002 (Saskatchewan) out of portions of the Saskatoon Meewasin and Saskatoon Sutherland ridings. It was dissolved by the Representation Act, 2013 (Saskatchewan) into Saskatoon Silverspring-Sutherland and Saskatoon Willowgrove.

University Heights Sector, previously known as University Heights Suburban Development Area (SDA), is a sector in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a part of the east side community of Saskatoon. It lies (generally) south of the outskirts of the City and the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344, east of the University Sector, as well as the South Saskatchewan River and Lawson Sector, and north of the Lakewood Sector.

Willowgrove is a primarily residential neighbourhood located in the eastside of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It comprises a mix of mainly single-family detached houses and fewer multiple-unit dwellings. As of 2011, the area is home to 3,973 residents. The neighbourhood is considered a middle to high-income area, with an average family income of $96,002, an average dwelling value of $218,357 and a home ownership rate of 84.8%.

Silverspring is a residential neighbourhood located in northeast Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a suburban subdivision, composed mostly of low-density, single detached houses. As of 2007, the area is home to 4,936 residents. The neighbourhood is considered a high income area, with an average family income of $85,084, an average dwelling value of $322,670 and a home ownership rate of 97.8%. According to MLS data, the average sale price of a home as of 2013 was $407,171.

Centennial Collegiate is a secondary school located on Nelson Road in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. There are approximately 1,400 students enrolled at Centennial Collegiate as of 2022. Centennial also has a partnership with SaskTel Soccer Centre making it a shared-use facility.

University Heights Suburban Centre is a mixed-development neighbourhood located in northeast Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a classified as a "suburban centre" subdivision, composed of medium to high-density multiple-unit dwellings, commercial areas and civic facilities. As of 2009, the area is home to 1,479 residents. The neighbourhood is considered a middle-income area, with an average family income of $69,219, an average dwelling value of $237,698 and a home ownership rate of 85.7%. According to MLS data, the average sale price of a home as of 2013 was $304,903.

The Regional Psychiatric Centre is classified as a custodial forensic psychiatry facility (Federal Forensic Hospital) with multiple security levels with a staff of 345, it is located on a 55-acre (22 ha) parcel of land owned by the University of Saskatchewan and opened in 1978. It is the only psychiatric hospital in the country with a therapeutic healing program designed for women offenders.The centre is the only of its kind affiliated with a university medical school and accredited as a hospital; patients are admitted and discharged by medical staff with senior medical staff and faculty jointly appointed with the university providing for the development of treatment and research programs. The centre is one of the residency training locations used by the Psychiatry Program at the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine.
