Komaba-tōdaimae Station

Komaba (駒場) is a residential neighborhood in the northern area of Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. Consisting of four districts, the neighborhood has a population of 6,847.The neighborhood is known as a center for education being the location of a number of selective entry high schools and the Komaba Campus of the University of Tokyo.

Komaba Junior and Senior High School, University of Tsukuba (筑波大学附属駒場中学校・高等学校) is a national boys' school located in Ikejiri, Setagaya, near Komaba. It is better known by the abbreviation Tsukukoma (筑駒). Tsukukoma is affiliated with the University of Tsukuba and provides six-year secondary education programmes. Tsukukoma is the only national boys' school in Japan and is regarded as one of the most selective secondary educational institutions in the country.

The Maeda Ikutokukai (前田育徳会) is a Japanese public interest corporation (公益法人) established on February 26, 1926 for the management and preservation of the cultural heritage of the Maeda clan, rulers of the Kaga Domain. It is located in Komaba, Meguro, Tokyo. The collection is centered on written materials including ancient documents or Japanese and Chinese books but also contains crafts items such as swords, armour or household items. The writings held by the foundation are known as Sonkeikaku library (尊経閣文庫, Sonkeikaku bunko) which is also used as an alias for Maeda Ikutokukai. This collection of old books, ancient records and documents is open to researchers on request only. The library's name is derived from the personal book collection of the 5th daimyō of Kanazawa Domain, Maeda Tsunanori, known as Sonkeikaku zōsho (尊経閣蔵書), which is distinct from the ancestral collection.22 National Treasures and 76 Important Cultural Properties of Japan are in possession of Maeda Ikutokukai. As the library does not have the display facilities of a museum, viewing requests are generally denied. However, the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art in Kanazawa contains an exhibition room devoted to the Maeda Ikutokukai collection in which arts and crafts items are permanently on display.

The Japan Folk Crafts Museum (日本民藝館, Nihon Mingeikan) is a museum in Komaba, Meguro, Tokyo, Japan, dedicated to the hand-crafted art of ordinary people (mingei).Access is from Komaba-Tōdaimae Station of Keio Inokashira Line. The museum was established in 1936 by Yanagi Sōetsu, the founder of the mingei movement; Hamada Shōji succeeded him as its director. Yanagi and Hamada officially announced their desire to establish a folk crafts museum in 1926. Construction began on the museum in 1935 and was completed in 1936.The museum covers 1,818 square meters and was constructed with a traditional Japanese architectural style. A 'long' stone-roofed gate-cum-residence (nagaya-mon) was brought from the Tochigi Prefecture and reconstructed in front of the building.

Tokai University (東海大学, Tōkai Daigaku) is a private non-sectarian higher education institution located in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded by Dr. Shigeyoshi Matsumae. It was accredited under Japan's old educational system in 1946 and under the new system in 1950. In 2008, Tokai University, Kyushu Tokai University, and Hokkaido Tokai University were consolidated and reorganized into Tokai University. Its Chinese character name is the same as Tunghai University in Taiwan.

Hokkaido Tokai University (北海道東海大学, Hokkaidō Tōkai Daigaku, HTU) was a university with two campuses in Hokkaido, Japan: the Sapporo campus in Minami-ku, which housed the School of Engineering and the School of International Cultural Relations; and the Asahikawa campus, which housed the School of Art and Technology. The University officially established in 1977 by the Tokai University Educational System. In 2008 the university merged into Tokai University and both campuses became Tokai University Hokkaido Campuses (Sapporo campus and Asahikawa campus). Tokai University closed the School of Art and Technology (Asahikawa campus) in 2015.

Ōhashi (大橋) is a neighborhood located in the northern area of Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. Consisting of two chōme. As of October 1, 2020, the neighborhood has a population of 7,181.

Tomigaya (富ヶ谷) is a district of Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. As of October 2020, the population of this district is 9,499. The postal code for Tomigaya is 151–0063.

Ikejiri-ōhashi Station (池尻大橋駅, Ikejiri-ōhashi-eki) is a railway station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line extending through Setagaya, Tokyo and Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. It is operated by the private railway operator Tokyu Corporation. Ikejiri-ōhashi station is the easternmost station in Setagaya. The station number is DT-02.

Toguri Museum of Art (Japanese: 戸栗美術館) is located in Shoto, Shibuya, Tokyo. It mainly preserves and exhibits Asian ceramics collected by the businessperson Toru Toguri. The museum is located approximately 15 minutes walk from Shibuya Station. The main collections are Hizen porcelain from Imari and Nabeshima, as well as Chinese and Korean ceramics. The collection has approximately 7,000 art pieces in its collection.

Shōtō (松濤) is an upscale residential district of Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Located on the southwestern part of Shibuya, this district borders Kamiyamachō on the north, Udagawachō on the east, Dōgenzaka on the southeast, Shinsenchō and Maruyamachō on the south, and Komaba on the west.

Shinsen Station (神泉駅, Shinsen-eki) is a railway station on the Keio Inokashira Line in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Keio Corporation.
