Marion Nicholl Rawson (June 24, 1878 – December 4, 1956) was an author, illustrator, artist and lecturer.

South Acworth is an unincorporated community in the town of Acworth in Sullivan County, New Hampshire, United States. It is located around a dam on the Cold River, 2 miles (3 km) south of and 700 feet (210 m) downhill from the Acworth town center. New Hampshire Route 123A passes through the village, heading east to New Hampshire Route 10 in the town of Marlow and west to Alstead. South Acworth has a separate ZIP code (03607) from the rest of Acworth.

The Hutchinson House is a historic house at 400 Alstead Center Road in Alstead, New Hampshire, United States. Built in 1805–09, it is one of a small number of Georgian houses in southwestern New Hampshire. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in February 2015.

The Cold River Bridge, also known as McDermott Bridge, is a historic wooden covered bridge spanning the Cold River near Crane Brook Road in Langdon, New Hampshire, USA. Built in 1869, it is one of the state's few surviving 19th-century covered bridges. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is closed to vehicular traffic.

The Acworth Silsby Library is the public library of Acworth, New Hampshire, located in the town center at 5 Lynn Hill Road. Built in 1891 and funded by Acworth native Ithiel Homer Silsby, the building is a distinctive local example of Romanesque architecture. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Acworth Congregational Church (The Church-on-the-Hill or Acworth Meetinghouse) is a historic church at the end of the town common in Acworth, New Hampshire. Built in 1821, its exterior is a well-preserved local example of Federal period architecture, with possible attribution to Elias Carter. Its interior now exhibits a Victorian-era design, distinctive because it has survived later alteration. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. It is now maintained by a local non-profit organization.

Officers of the company include President Bruce Bascom and Vice-Presidents David Bascom and Kevin Bascom.The company is one of the largest independent maple wholesalers in the United States, as well as the country's largest distributor of new and used sugaring equipment to maple farmers and sugar houses. Bascom Maple Farms is one of the top four maple syrup processors in the United States and also buys, produces, bottles and sells pure maple syrup and maple sugar.The Bascom family began producing maple syrup in 1853 and has operated commercial syrup production and maple packing facilities for over 40 years. Its division Bascom Family Farms is the largest independent supplier of pure and organic maple syrup and maple sugar products.Kenneth Bascom, who was instrumental in bringing the Bascom Farm maple products to the forefront of the industry, was inducted into the American Maple Hall of Fame in 1994. In 2010, Bruce Bascom was also honored by the North American Maple Syrup Council with induction into the Maple Hall of Fame, headquartered at the International Maple Museum Centre in Croghan, New York. It airs a country music format, simulcast with WXLF (95.3 FM) in Hartford.The station has been assigned these call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since March 1, 2005.

The Shedd-Porter Memorial Library, located at 3 Main Street, is the public library of Alstead, New Hampshire. The library building was a gift to the town from John Graves Shedd and Mary Roenna (Porter) Shedd, and is a Beaux Arts building built in 1910 to a design by William H. McLean and Albert H. Wright. Shedd also donated 2,000 books to the library, whose collection now exceeds 10,000 volumes. The library building, one of the finest of the period in the state, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2011.

The Langdon Meeting House is a historic meeting house and former church at 5 Walker Hill Road in Langdon, New Hampshire. Completed in 1803 as a combination town hall and church, it is now a multifunction space owned by the town, and is claimed by the town to hold the record for consecutive town meetings held in the same space. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020, and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places in 2012.
