Zinkensdamms IP

Zinkensdamm is a Stockholm metro station in Södermalm, Stockholm, Sweden. The station was opened on 5 April 1964 as part of the first stretch of the Red line, between T-Centralen and Fruängen. The surrounding area is known for the Zinkensdamms IP sports grounds, the Tantolunden Park, the Drakenberg area, and the STF Zinken hostel.

Teater Tribunalen (commonly known as Tribunalen) is a popular independent Swedish theatre group in Stockholm. The theatre group was created in 1995 by a group of students from the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting ("Scenskolan") in Malmö and by students from the Swedish Institute of Dramatic Art (Dramatiska Institutet) in Stockholm. Teater Tribunalen is an outspoken political theatre group interested in influencing the society by challenging politic power, the government and nationally-debated issues with their work. In the spring of 2012, Ellen Nyman will direct “A performance of Swedish Arms Exports”( En föreställning om svensk vapenexport) at Teater Tribunalen. The goal is to initiate a national referendum on Swedish arms export.

Riddarfjärden (Swedish: [ˈrɪ̂dːarˌfjæːɖɛn], "The Knight Firth") is the easternmost bay of Lake Mälaren in central Stockholm. Stockholm was founded in 1252 on an island in the stream where Lake Mälaren (from the west) drains into the Baltic Sea (to the east); today the island is called Stadsholmen and constitutes Stockholm's Old Town. Årstabroarna (English: The Årsta bridges) are two parallel railway viaducts in central Stockholm, Sweden. Passing over the watercourse of Årstaviken and the islets Årsta holmar, they connect the major island Södermalm to the southern mainland district Årsta.

Årstaviken is a bay in the Eastern parts of Lake Mälaren in Sweden. It is bordered by the Södermalm, Liljeholmen and Årsta neighborhoods of Stockholm.

Södermalm is a city district area (Swedish: stadsdelsområde, often referred to as a borough) in central Stockholm, Sweden. Södermalm borough has a population of around 110,000, making it the most populated borough of Stockholm. The urban development project of Hammarby Sjöstad is located in the Södermalm borough.

St. Paul's Church, also known as St. Paul's Chapel (Swedish: Sankt Paulskyrkan), is a former United Methodist Church of Sweden church located in Mariatorget, a square and a city park in Södermalm, central Stockholm. The parish church, an 1876 neo-Gothic brick structure, was designed by the Swedish architects and brothers Axel and Hjalmar Kumlien.The congregation was formed in 1868, the first Methodist church in Sweden. In 2013 it became part of the Uniting Church in Sweden (Swedish: Equmeniakyrkan) with the formation of that denomination. Owing to its declining enrollment, the remaining parishioners dissolved the parish and sold the church to Stockholm Stadsmission, a local charitable organization, in 2015.

The Blue Hall (Swedish: Blå hallen) is the main hall of the Stockholm City Hall best known as the banquet hall for the annual Nobel Banquet, and also used for state visits, student balls, jubilees and other large events.

Högalid Church (Swedish: Högalidskyrkan) is a protected church located in the Södermalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. It was designed by architect Ivar Tengbom. Built upon elevated ground 1916–1923, in a barren area later turned into a park, it is one of the most prominent buildings in the city, complementing the contemporary Stockholm City Hall on the opposite side of Riddarfjärden. The church is considered one of Sweden's foremost examples of the National Romantic architectural style.

Mariatorget (the Maria Square) is a square and a city park in the district of Södermalm in Stockholm, Sweden.

Eldkvarn was a grand gristmill in central Stockholm that burned in 1878 — an event which was known as "the fire of the century". It was located where today the Stockholm City Hall stands. The mill was built in 1805 for Abraham Niclas Edelcrantz with a steam engine built by Samuel Owen. At the time of the blaze, the fire was known as the fire of the century, because of its ferocity and the fact that it could be seen from many points of the city, dominating the skyline. It was a moment that gripped the city in horror, as citizens watched the fire rage and fill the night sky.
