Holy Trinity Church, Prestwood is the Church of England church serving the Buckinghamshire village and parish of Prestwood. The church, its lych gate and the church school, and Church Cottage at 134 Wycombe Road are listed, as well as Prestwood Park House behind the church.

Angling Spring Wood is in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England with an area of 16.37 hectares (40.5 acres). It is owned by Chiltern District Council. The woodland is located close to Gipsy House, the former residence of Roald Dahl. The author regularly walked in the woods, gaining inspiration to write Danny, the Champion of the World and Fantastic Mr Fox.

Heath End is a hamlet in the parish of Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, England. At the 2011 Census the population of the hamlet was included in the civil parish of Little Missenden. During the 20th century, it became attached to Great Kingshill to the south west. The old centre of the hamlet is where Spurlands End Road meets Heath End Road. Although Heath End is now attached to Great Kingshill there are still road signs indicating to the hamlet. The hamlet's name is derived from being historically located at the edge of a large area of heathland (now vanished) called Wycombe Heath or Holmer Heath which once covered several thousand acres to the south. There is some evidence in the Cartulary of Missenden Abbey that the hamlet was once known as Birchmere.

Prestwood Local Nature Reserve or Prestwood (Picnic Site) is a 2.1 hectares (5.2 acres) Local Nature Reserve in Prestwood in Buckinghamshire. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is owned by Wycombe District Council and leased to the Chiltern Society.The site was a dump for motor vehicles until 1976, when it was acquired by Wycombe Council. The Chiltern Society took over the management in 2013. It is steeply sloping chalk grassland with a diverse range of species, including birds such bullfinches, blackcaps and garden warblers, are butterflies such as dingy, grizzled skippers and green hairstreaks.There is a car park for the site and picnic tables off Hampden Road near Perks Lane.

Great Kingshill is a small village in the parish of Hughenden in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Chiltern Hills, about five miles west of Amersham and two and a half miles south of Great Missenden.

Prestwood F.C. are a football club based in Prestwood, near High Wycombe, England. They currently play in the Aylesbury & District League Premier Division. The club is affiliated to the Berks & Bucks Football Association

Gipsy House (formerly Little Whitefield) is a house in the village of Great Missenden in the English county of Buckinghamshire. It was the home of the writer Roald Dahl and his family for several decades. The house is situated on Whitefield Lane, an old drovers' road on the outskirts of the village. It is currently privately owned but the writing hut is on display at Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre.

Great Missenden railway station serves the village of Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, England and the neighbouring villages of Prestwood, Little Hampden and Little Missenden. The station lies on the London Marylebone – Aylesbury line and is served by Chiltern Railways trains. It is between Amersham and Wendover stations. Both station platforms have step-free access.

Elmhurst (also known as Elmtrees) is a semi-detached house at 5 High Street in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. It is divided into seven apartments. It predominantly dates from the 18th century and surrounds a 16th-century house.The main wing has been listed Grade II* on the National Heritage List for England since August 1977. The north wing, known as Gable End, was separately listed Grade II in July 1984. The house is 2 storeys in height, made from red and grey brick and has a distinctive 19th century covered entrance with a semi circular iron roof and a traceried fanlight over the door.The present house was erected by the Dormer family and was inhabited for several years by the widow of William Cleaver, the Bishop of Chester. It was subsequently the residence of Frances, the wife of the 19th century radical MP Robert Knight. A September 1840 letter from farmer John Burgess was sent from Elmhurst to the Journal of the Royal Agricultural Society of England. An 1870 letter from Gilbert William Child was sent from Elmhurst to Charles Darwin.

Great Missenden is an affluent village and civil parish in the Misbourne Valley in the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire, England, situated between the towns of Amersham and Wendover. It adjoins the village of Little Kingshill, and is a mile from Little Missenden and the village of Prestwood. The narrow and historic High Street is bypassed by the main A413 London to Aylesbury Road. It is located in the centre of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The source of the Misbourne is to be found just north of the village, although the upper reach of the river runs only in winter and the perennial head is in Little Missenden. The village is now best known as home to the late Roald Dahl, the world-famous adult and children's author.

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre is a museum in the village of Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, England. Children's and short story writer Roald Dahl lived in the village in Gipsy House for 36 years until his death in 1990.
