All Saints Church, Haggerston

Albion Hall was a building on the west side of Albion Square, Hackney, built by Islip Odell between 1849 and 1850. It was owned by the Literary and Scientific Institute until 1861. Under the management of the institute, the hall managed lectures, a library, entertainment and classes in chess, French, book-keeping and arts and science. From 1861 it was run as an assembly hall, and after the installation of swimming baths in the 1860s, became public baths. Between 1850 and 1894 the building was licensed, but it closed in 1897. The London School Board re-opened the building in 1899. The building was demolished in 1944, following bomb damage by a flying bomb during World War II.

Haggerston is a station on the East London line in Haggerston within the London Borough of Hackney, Greater London. The station is located on the Kingsland Viaduct at the junction of Arbutus Street and Frederick Terrace, near Kingsland Road. The main entrance is in Lee Street. The station was built as part of the East London line extension served by National Rail London Overground under the control of the London Rail division of Transport for London, however there is no standard red National Rail "double arrow" logo signage located at the station, instead only the Overground roundel. The next station north is Dalston Junction and the next station south is Hoxton. It is in Travelcard Zone 2.

The Towers of Hackney was one of many names used to describe a folk art sculpture park made out of large wooden structures in Dalston, London Borough of Hackney. Other names include "The Castle of Hackney", "Snippa" and "Silentpark". The sculpture park was developed by different people living in the area for almost 30 years, and was demolished in 2009. Just as the participants shifted so did the overall appearance of the structures. The park was also used as a children's playground and a community garden. Artist Emanuel Almborg used the site and the stories about it as inspiration for his project The Rest Is Silence, which has resulted in talks, exhibitions and a book. The sculpture was dismantled in January 2009, to make way for new developments in the area.

Kingsland Road is the name given to an East London stretch of the A10 road within the London Borough of Hackney in England. The A10 was originally a Roman Road better known as Ermine Street or sometimes the Old North Road. The name Kingsland Road is used from the junction with Old Street and Hackney Road (the section of the A10 south of this is Shoreditch High Street) north to the junction with Balls Pond Road and Dalston Lane, where it changes its name to Kingsland High Street. Kingsland Road means the road to Kingsland, an old settlement that has been absorbed by modern Dalston. The quality and variety of architectural styles present along the road has led to the Kingsland Road corridor being designated a conservation area.The Museum of the Home formerly known as Geffrye Museum is located on Kingsland Road. There are both wealthy and parts with almshouses there.The band Kingsland Road named themselves "Kingsland" after the road, before later expanding their name.

The Bridge Academy is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Haggerston area of the London Borough of Hackney in England.The Bridge Academy opened in 2007 in new buildings sited along the banks of Regent's Canal, and opened a sixth form provision in 2012. The school is sponsored by the financial services company UBS, and has a specialism in mathematics and music.The school offers GCSEs, BTECs and foundation courses as programmes of study. Students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A Levels and further BTECs.

The Metropolitan Free Hospital was a London hospital, founded in 1836 and based for most of its existence in Kingsland Road, Hackney. It became part of the NHS in 1948, and closed in 1977, with its residual functions transferring to Barts Hospital.

Sharks! is an art installation in London, England by architect Jaimie Shorten. The art was built following its concept winning the 2020 Antepavilion, an annual art contest. Currently, they are displayed on floating platforms on the River Thames, in front of the art centre in repurposed docks at 55 Laburnum Street, in the Hoxton neighbourhood within the Borough of Hackney.

Passing Clouds was a community run music venue near Kingsland Road, Dalston in East London. Founded in 2006, the venue was used for a range of activities. It was closed down in 2016, squatted and then finally evicted. After a period of dereliction it was announced in 2019 that it would re-open as a different venue.

Power Lunches Arts Café was a music venue, rehearsal space, and creative hub located on Kingsland Road in Dalston, a district of the London Borough of Hackney. It opened in 2011 and closed in 2015. It started out with gigs planned to be only at weekends, but later became a prominent feature of Hackney’s DIY music scene with gigs most nights every week. Though originally genuinely also a café, it eventually stopped serving food. The cafe hosted performances in its basement, the maximum capacity of which was 150. These were most often concerts by local bands, but also saw acts from elsewhere in the UK, as well as further afield. Staff of the venue hosted a radio show showcasing the type of musicians to appear there on NTS Radio between 2012 and 2015.

Haggerston Baths in Hackney, London, was opened in 1904 as public baths. The baths were built at a cost of £60,000. There was a single pool, 91 slipper baths and a 60 stall wash house. The Grade II listed Haggerston Pool was designed by Alfred Cross. It was closed in 2000 with an uncertain future. In June 2009 after a long community campaign, a £5m grant was announced from the Department for Children, Schools and Families to refurbish and re-open the pool. The building would also contain community facilities and a GP surgery. Heavily involved in the re-opening of the pool was Michael Gallie, who was instrumental in surveying the building, creating 3D model sketches and more.Due to the financial downturn the council has had to remove funding for the re-opening of the baths. The Haggerston baths campaign has restarted efforts to find financial backing and public support in an effort to re-open the pool.

Kingsland Basin is a canal basin in the De Beauvoir Town area of the London Borough of Hackney. The basin, which is also known as Kingsland Road Basin, dates from 1822 and is part of the Regents Canal. The area is the site of numerous housing redevelopments.

The Suleymaniye Mosque (Turkish: Süleymaniye Camii) is a mosque at Kingsland Road in Haggerston, East London, United Kingdom, which serves the entire Muslim community as well as the Turkish speaking community. The mosque was funded by the UK Turkish Islamic Cultural Centre (UKTICC) and the construction began in 1994 and was finally opened to the public in October 1999. With a total floor space of 8,000 square metres, the total capacity of its Ottoman style mosque is 3,000 people. The mosque includes a conference and wedding hall, classrooms, funeral service facilities as well as accommodation for Marathon School students. The minaret reaches a height of 66 metres (218 ft), the highest in Great Britain. Suleymaniye Mosque has become something of a local landmark and it is one of London's key Islamic centres.Prince Charles visited the mosque in 2001.
