Lane Cove is a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Lane Cove is nine kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district and is the administrative centre for the local government area of the Lane Cove Council. Lane Cove West and Lane Cove North are separate suburbs. Lane Cove occupies a peninsula on the northern side of Port Jackson (Sydney Harbour), at the opening of the Lane Cove River. The regional administrative and shopping hub of Chatswood is located three kilometres away, along with Macquarie Park four kilometres away.

Blaxlands Corner is a locality on the North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Blaxlands Corner is at the intersection of Longueville Road, Northwood Road, and River Road West, in the southern part of Lane Cove adjacent to Longueville. It contains the Longueville Sporting Club, a BP service station, a bottle shop, a travel and cruise agency. Longueville Motor Bus Company built a depot at 16 Northwood Road in 1939 that was closed by successor Deanes Coaches in the mid-1970s.It was named after Francis Blaxland who owned three acres of land in the area from the 1880s and was a grandson of Gregory Blaxland. It was recognised by the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales as a locality in 1995.

Riverview is a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Riverview is located 9 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Lane Cove. It is situated on the northern side of the Lane Cove River, at the head of Tambourine Bay; the foreshore is occupied by Tambourine Bay Park. Riverview is primarily a residential area.

Saint Ignatius' College Riverview is an Australian independent single-sex primary and secondary day and boarding school for boys located in Riverview, a small suburb located on the Lane Cove River on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales. Established in 1880 by Joseph Dalton SJ, Saint Ignatius' is a Jesuit school in the tradition of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. It is part of the international network of Jesuit schools that began in Messina, Sicily in 1548. Saint Ignatius' College has a non-selective enrolment policy and currently caters for approximately 1,560 students from Years 5 to 12, including 335 boarders in Years 6 to 12. The Lane Cove Tunnel is a 3.6-kilometre (2.2 mi) twin-tunnel tollway in Sydney, New South Wales that is part of the Sydney Orbital Network. Owned by toll road operator Transurban, It connects the M2 Motorway at North Ryde with the Gore Hill Freeway at Artarmon and forms part of Sydney's M2 route, with the M2 Hills Motorway constituting the rest of the M2 route.

Lane Cove North is located 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government areas of the Municipality of Lane Cove and the City of Willoughby. Lane Cove and Lane Cove West are separate suburbs. Boundaries are Pacific Highway in east, Epping Road in the south, Lane Cove River in the west and Chatswood Golf Course in the north. The Local Government boundary is Mowbray Road.

Osborne Park is a former urban place on the North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Osborne Park was located in the eastern part of the suburb of Lane Cove. Its designation as an urban place was withdrawn in 1999. The locality was called after 'Osborne Park' (later called 'Kermadec') in Osborne Road, built by the future Prime Minister, Billy Hughes in 1906.The Osborne Park Progress Association, founded in 1926, has developed tennis courts and other projects for community benefit.

Chatswood West is a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Chatswood West is located 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government areas of the City of Willoughby and City of Ryde. Chatswood is a separate suburb to the east. The locality of Chatswood located west of the Pacific Highway is informally known as West Chatswood, and should not be confused with the separate suburb of Chatswood West, nor should it be confused with the West Chatswood Post Office on Railway Street in the suburb of Chatswood. Chatswood West shares the same postcode as Chatswood which is 2067.Chatswood West is located between the bigger suburbs of Chatswood and North Ryde. It straddles the Lane Cove River, occupying the valley flats and ridges leading down to the river.

The Chatswood South Uniting Church is a heritage-listed Uniting church at 518 Pacific Highway, Lane Cove North, Sydney, Australia. It was designed by Thomas Rowe and possibly a Mr Morrow also and built by Bryson, Leet, Johnson & Montgomery. It is also known as Chatswood South Uniting Church and Cemetery and Chatswood South Methodist Church. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The property was sold in 2017 for redevelopment.
