Blaxlands Corner is a locality on the North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Blaxlands Corner is at the intersection of Longueville Road, Northwood Road, and River Road West, in the southern part of Lane Cove adjacent to Longueville. It contains the Longueville Sporting Club, a BP service station, a bottle shop, a travel and cruise agency. Longueville Motor Bus Company built a depot at 16 Northwood Road in 1939 that was closed by successor Deanes Coaches in the mid-1970s.It was named after Francis Blaxland who owned three acres of land in the area from the 1880s and was a grandson of Gregory Blaxland. It was recognised by the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales as a locality in 1995.

Osborne Park is a former urban place on the North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Osborne Park was located in the eastern part of the suburb of Lane Cove. Its designation as an urban place was withdrawn in 1999. The locality was called after 'Osborne Park' (later called 'Kermadec') in Osborne Road, built by the future Prime Minister, Billy Hughes in 1906.The Osborne Park Progress Association, founded in 1926, has developed tennis courts and other projects for community benefit.

Northwood House is a heritage-listed former home for mentally handicapped children and now residence at 1 Private Road, Northwood in the Lane Cove Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Edmund Blacket and built during 1878 by John and James Eaton. It is also known as Northwood House & Cottage. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Longueville is a small residential suburb on the peninsula between Tambourine Bay and Woodford Bay, on the banks of the Lane Cove River. Originally a home to manufacturing industries, the suburb had its beginnings as a residential area in the 1870s. Longueville was officially proclaimed a suburb in the 1920s.Before settlement, Longueville was the home of the Cammeraygal people of the Ku-ring-gai Aboriginal Tribe. Today the suburb is home to some of Australia's most expensive real estate, with the Sydney Morning Herald ranking it as Sydney's fourth most-expensive suburb.

The Lane Cove Tunnel is a 3.6-kilometre (2.2 mi) twin-tunnel tollway in Sydney, New South Wales that is part of the Sydney Orbital Network. Owned by toll road operator Transurban, It connects the M2 Motorway at North Ryde with the Gore Hill Freeway at Artarmon and forms part of Sydney's M2 route, with the M2 Hills Motorway constituting the rest of the M2 route.
