Karol Bagh is a neighbourhood in Central District of Delhi, India. It is a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood known for shopping streets such as the Ghaffar Market and Ajmal Khan Road. It was home to the Karol Bagh Lok Sabha constituency until it was abolished in 2008. Residential areas W.E.A, Beadon Pura, Reghar Pura, Dev Nagar, and Bapa Nagar have a mix of commercial activities such as wholesale markets Tank Road Garment Market and Hardhyan Singh Road Leather market. Tank Road wholesale garment market came into existence with a few shopkeepers at the end of the 1980s. It offers multiple stores for ethnic women's wear i.e. suits, sarees, and lehengas.

On 8 December 2019, a fire occurred at a factory building in Anaj Mandi area of Delhi, India. At least 43 people died and more than 56 were injured.The fire started in a workshop that produced school bags and shoes. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a call for help around 5:22 a.m. IST and reached the location within five minutes, but their entry to the building was prevented by the intensity of the fire and blockages to the entry points. Gas cutters had to be employed to remove the iron grilles. Thirty-five fire engines reached the location and extinguished the fire with an estimated 150 firemen involved who were able to rescue 63 people. A team from the National Disaster Response Force was deployed to assist the fire department in the rescue work. According to the police, most of the people who died were labourers who had been sleeping inside the factory. Doctors stated that deaths were due to asphyxiation caused by smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide poisoning. The cause of the fire is being investigated. A preliminary investigation and eye witness claims have suggested an electrical short circuit may have been the cause. The factory was operating in a residential area and according to the local fire chief, the building lacked a proper fire license, and its use as a factory was illegal. The Delhi Police Crime Branch is investigating the case, and the owner of the building and his manager were arrested on the day of the fire. Arvind Kejriwal, chief minister of Delhi, announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh (US$13,000) to the next of kin of each person that died and ₹1 lakh (US$1,300) for the injured. Whereas, Narendra Modi, prime minister of India, also declared a compensation of ₹2 lakh (US$2,500) lakhs rupees for dead and ₹50,000 (US$630) thousand rupees for the injured.

Sadar Bazaar is the largest wholesale cosmetics jewellery market of household items in Old Delhi, Delhi, India. Like other major markets of Old Delhi, this market is very crowded and buzzes with activity. Although it is primarily a wholesale market, it also caters to occasional retail buyers. Owing to the sheer volumes that are traded here every day, a visit to the market can be termed sensory overload. In addition to being a market for traders, Sadar Bazaar is a assembly constituency, making it a hub for politics.

Sadar Bazar railway station is a small railway station in Sadar Bazar which is a residential and commercial neighbourhood of Delhi. Its code is DSB. The station is part of Delhi Suburban Railway. The station consist of 4 platforms. The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including Water and Sanitation.

The Dargah Qadam Sharif in Paharganj, Delhi consists of a small tomb complex, built in 1375-1376 CE, which also houses a mosque, a madrasa and a shrine ("dargah"), which is surrounded by a massive gated wall.

Tis Hazari is a neighbourhood in Old Delhi, India just south of the Northern Ridge. It is the location of the Tis Hazari Courts Complex which was inaugurated on 19 March 1958 by Chief Justice Mr. A. N. Bhandari of the then Punjab High Court. It is one of the six District Courts that function under the Delhi High Court, and continues to be the principal Court building in state of Delhi.

Khari Baoli is a street in Delhi, India known for its wholesale grocery and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling a variety of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea. Operating since the 17th century, the market is situated near the historic Delhi Red Fort, on the Khari Baoli Road adjacent to Fatehpuri Masjid at the western end of the Chandni Chowk, and over the years has remained a tourist attraction, especially those in the heritage circuit of Old Delhi.

The Tis Hazari metro station is a metro station located on the Red Line of Delhi Metro. It is situated in the Tis Hazari area of Central Delhi. The station is situated just across the road from the Tis Hazari Courts Complex, which is the principal district court of Delhi. It is connected to gate number 2 of the complex by a footbridge. The footbridge has a ramp available for the disabled or physically challenged people.

Paharganj (literally 'hilly neighbourhood') is a neighbourhood of Central Delhi, located just west of the New Delhi Railway Station. Known as Shahganj or King's ganj or market place during Mughal era, it is one of the three administrative subdivisions, of the Central Delhi district, of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, with the other two being, Darya Ganj and Karol Bagh. Known for its concentration of affordable hotels, lodges, restaurants, dhabas and a wide variety of shops catering to both domestic travellers and foreign tourists, especially backpackers and low-budget travellers, it has become particularly popular as a haunt for international cuisine. However Paharganj has a poor record regarding safety of women since the area is noted for its scams, drug peddling, sexual assaults. Instead, the more modern South Delhi is now becoming the main center for backpackers.

The Fatehpuri Mosque is a 17th-century mosque located at the western end of the oldest street of Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Delhi, India. It is opposite the Red Fort on the opposite end of Chandni Chowk.
