Montvale Springs

Blount County is a county located in the East Tennessee Grand Division of the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2020 census, its population was 135,280. The county seat is Maryville, which is also the county's largest city. Blount County is included in the Knoxville metropolitan area.

Abrams Creek is a creek in Blount County, Tennessee. Its headwaters are in Cades Cove, and it is a tributary of the Little Tennessee River. It is named after the Chilhowee Cherokee chief Old Abraham ("Abram"). Visitors swim and fish in the creek. The creek was deliberately poisoned in 1957 to kill fish in potential competition with rainbow trout; many fish species were extirpated from the river and have never recovered.

Pearson Springs Park is a public park managed by Maryville/Alcoa/Blount County Parks and Recreation. Pearson Springs parallels Pistol Creek from Best Road on the northeast to the junction of the Maryville Alcoa Greenway and Montgomery Lane on the southwest, all within the City of Maryville, Tennessee.

Jarvis Park is a park located in Maryville, Tennessee, and is managed by the City of Maryville and Foothills Land Conservancy. The 11 acre woodlands Park is off Court St. east of Downtown Maryville. It borders the Vulcan Materials Company rock quarry and is across the street from Blount United Soccer Club fields. The park is named after Dr. Craig Jarvis, donator of the land to the city.

Chilhowee (Cherokee: ᏧᎷᎾᎢ, romanized: Tsulunawe) was a prehistoric and historic Native American site in present-day Blount and Monroe counties in Tennessee, in what were the Southeastern Woodlands. Although now submerged by the Chilhowee Lake impoundment of the Little Tennessee River, the Chilhowee site was home to a substantial 18th-century Overhill Cherokee town. It may have been the site of the older Creek village "Chalahume" visited by Spanish explorer Juan Pardo in 1567. The Cherokee later pushed the Muscogee Creek out of this area. Although Chilhowee was destroyed by Euro-American frontiersmen who fought the Cherokee in the late 18th century, the village's name is still used for various entities throughout East Tennessee. Along with Chilhowee Dam and its reservoir, places and entities named after Chilhowee include a mountain, a geologic formation, several churches and schools, and a park and neighborhood in Knoxville.

Sandy Springs Park is a public park located in Maryville, Tennessee.

Morningside is a historic house in Maryville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in 1932 for Mrs John Walker, whose sister was married to Dr. W. P. Stevenson, the chaplain of Maryville College. It was designed in the Classical Revival architectural style. Mrs Walker willed it to Maryville College when she died in 1950, and it was used as the college president's house. Later, the college sold it to Dr. Lloyd Langston, but they bought it back when he died. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 25, 1989.

Blackberry Farm is a luxury resort in Walland, Tennessee, bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It was rated the best small hotel in America by Zagat Survey in 2004. Blackberry Farm is part of the Relais & Châteaux association.

The Willard–Clark House is a historic two-story mansion in Maryville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built for B.F. Willard in 1886. The Willards owned the house until 1903, and it was purchased by J. L. Clark in 1905. In 1910, Clark added a portico, designed in the Classical Revival architectural style. They also the house to Elmer L. Hudson in 1929, who sold it to Granville R. Swaney in 1931. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 25, 1989.

Maryville is a city in and the county seat of Blount County, Tennessee. Its population was 31,907 at the 2020 census.

The Lloyd L. Thornton Stadium is located in Maryville, Tennessee, and serves as the home stadium for the Maryville College Fighting Scots’ football team. The stadium has a maximum seating capacity of 3,000, and the field is called Honaker Field. The stadium was dedicated in 1993. The field itself was named after Maryville College's Coach Lombe Honaker, and it has been the Fighting Scots' home field since 1952.

The Clover Hill Mill is a gristmill located in the U.S. city of Maryville, Tennessee. Out of the hundreds of early-20th century mills once scattered across the mountains of East Tennessee, the Clover Hill Mill is one of the few still in operation, and the last such full service mill in Blount County. The mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.The community of Clover Hill was established in the 1820s along the headwaters of Baker Creek, and by 1849 a gristmill had been established around which the community developed. By the 1860s, Clover Hill had its own post office, school, church, distillery, and general store. The completion of a railroad line a few miles to the north in 1906, however, caused the community to shift to what is now called the Binfield community. The gristmill burned in 1921 and was replaced by the present mill that same year.
