Wuhlheide

The Parkbühne Wuhlheide ("Wuhlheide Park Stage") is a cultural heritage site in Berlin, Germany, that serves as an open-air performance venue in the shape of an amphitheater. It is part of Volkspark Wuhlheide ("Wuhlheide Public Park") in the Berlin-Oberschöneweide neighborhood in the district of Bezirk Treptow-Köpenick. The Kindl-Bühne has a non-seated spectator capacity of 17,000 and a seated capacity of 15,300. It is the second-largest open-air stage in Berlin, trailing only the Waldbühne in size.

Wuhlheide station is a station of the Berlin S-Bahn on the Berlin-Frankfurt (Oder) railway (“Lower Silesian–Markish Railway”). It is located at the junction of the line with the Berlin outer ring in the district of Köpenick. In addition to the platform for line S3 of the S-Bahn, it also includes the terminus of the Berlin Park Railway (Berliner Parkeisenbahn) to the south of the S-Bahn line, which connects to a recreational area. The station is not to be confused with the now abandoned Wuhlheide marshalling yard on the outer ring.

Oberspree is a railway station in the Treptow-Köpenick district of Berlin on the Schöneweide–Spindlersfeld branch line. It is served by the S-Bahn line . Oberspree station is located approximately halfway along the line where it crosses the Oberspreestraße. It was opened for passenger traffic on 1 April 1892. The station was initially built next to a railway crossing with a central platform. The station building was located on Bruno-Bürgel-Weg parallel with the line. In 1970, the building was demolished. DRG closed the crossing loop in 1973 without publicising this fact and changed the status of a station at a halt (Haltepunkt in German, meaning a station without a set of points) after the crossing loop had not been used for several years. It was last used at the 10th World Festival of Youth and Students in 1973. Thus the impossibility of trains crossing each other meant that the 10-minute cycle of train services had to be abandoned. Crossing with delayed S-Bahn trains and with freight trains were made either in Schöneweide on the bridge over the Adlergestell or in Spindlersfeld, where track 9, which was intended primarily for freight traffic running to the sidings, was also equipped with conductor rail. The crossing loop in Oberspree existed until September 1984, but the access points to it had been removed previously. In 1976, a road was built over it. The most recent activity at the station was the building of new steel pedestrian bridge, which was completed in December 1997.

The Wuhle is a small right-bank tributary of the Spree. It originates in a ground moraine in Brandenburg near Ahrensfelde and flows through the Berlin boroughs of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Treptow-Köpenick before joining the Spree. It is the primary in- and outflow of the Wuhlebecken. The Wuhle is depicted in the coat of arms of Marzahn-Hellersdorf.

Berlin-Karlshorst station is a station served by regional and S-Bahn services in the suburb of Karlshorst in the Berlin district of Lichtenberg.

Spindlersfeld is a railway station in the Treptow-Köpenick district of Berlin on the Schöneweide–Spindlersfeld branch line. It is the eastern terminus of the S-Bahn line . It is located at the corner of Oberspreestraße and Ernst-Grube-Straße. A two-track development of the station is not in sight; even if the proposed duplication of the whole line goes ahead, the terminus will still have only one track.

The Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts (German: Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch, HFS), based in the Niederschöneweide district of Berlin, Germany, was founded in 1951 as the National Theatre School in Berlin with the status of college. In 1981, it was granted university status, and a year later it was renamed after the singer and East German actor Ernst Busch.

Wuhlebecken is a lake in Berlin, Germany. At an elevation of 33 m, its surface area is 6 ha.

Stadion An der Alten Försterei (English: Stadium at the old forester's house) is a football stadium in Köpenick and the largest single-purpose football stadium in the German capital of Berlin. It has been home to football club 1. FC Union Berlin and its forerunners since its opening in 1920. The stadium's capacity was last redeveloped in 2009 and expanded in 2013. Some of the redevelopment work was carried out by over 2,300 Union Berlin supporters volunteering their services. During league matches the arena features a total capacity of 22,012. There are 3,617 seats available whilst the rest of the ground remains terracing. The stadium became also known for events like the annual "Weihnachtssingen" (Christmas Carols Event) and the "WM-Wohnzimmer" (World Cup Living Room) in 2014.
