Maden Hall Farm, also called the Fermanagh-Ross Farm, is a historic farm near the U.S. city of Greeneville, Tennessee. Established in the 1820s, the farmstead consists of a farmhouse and six outbuildings situated on the remaining 17 acres (6.9 ha) of what was once a 300-acre (120 ha) antebellum farm. Maden Hall has been designated a century farm and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. William Ross II (1790–1865), the son of a Scotch-Irish immigrant, built the Maden Hall farmhouse in 1825, and in subsequent years acquired the surrounding land, much of it given to him by his father-in-law, John Gass. In spite of raids from bushwhackers, the farm survived the U.S. Civil War intact, and after the war the farm was maintained by Ross's children and grandchildren, most of whom made relatively few changes to the farm over several decades. In 1968, former University of Tennessee football standout Len Coffman (1915–2007) and wife Jennie King (a Ross descendant) purchased the farm from King's relatives. The Coffmans' daughter, Carol, is the farm's current owner.

Greeneville Municipal Airport (IATA: GCY, ICAO: KGCY, FAA LID: GCY) is a public airport located two miles (3 km) north of the central business district of Greeneville, a town in Greene County, Tennessee, United States. It is owned by the Town of Greeneville.

Greeneville Commons is a shopping center located in Greeneville, Tennessee along US Route 11E and US Route 11E Business. Greeneville Commons is the largest shopping complex in Greeneville. It is anchored by Belk Outlet Store, Hobby Lobby, Ross, and Burke's Outlet with Hibbett Sports as a junior anchor. JCPenney closed on July 31, 2017.

Greeneville is a town in and the county seat of Greene County, Tennessee, United States. The population as of the 2020 census was 15,479. The town was named in honor of Revolutionary War hero Nathanael Greene, and it is the second oldest town in Tennessee. It is the only town with this spelling in the United States, although there are numerous U.S. towns named Greenville. The town was the capital of the short-lived State of Franklin in the 18th-century history of East Tennessee.Greeneville is known as the town where United States President Andrew Johnson began his political career when elected from his trade as a tailor. He and his family lived there for most of his adult years. It was an area of strong abolitionist and Unionist views and yeoman farmers, an environment that influenced Johnson's outlook.The Greeneville Historic District was established in 1974.The U.S. Navy Los Angeles-class submarine USS Greeneville was named in honor of the town.Greeneville is part of the Johnson City-Kingsport-Bristol, TN-VA Combined Statistical Area – commonly known as the "Tri-Cities" region.

The State of Franklin (also the Free Republic of Franklin or the State of Frankland) was an unrecognized proposed state located in present-day East Tennessee, in the United States. Franklin was created in 1784 from part of the territory west of the Appalachian Mountains that had been offered by North Carolina as a cession to Congress to help pay off debts related to the American War for Independence. It was founded with the intent of becoming the 14th state of the new United States. Franklin's first capital was Jonesborough. After the summer of 1785, the government of Franklin (which was by then based in Greeneville), ruled as a "parallel government" running alongside (but not harmoniously with) a re-established North Carolina bureaucracy. Franklin was never admitted into the union. The extra-legal state existed for only about four and a half years, ostensibly as a republic, after which North Carolina reassumed full control of the area. The creation of Franklin is novel, in that it resulted from both a cession (an offering from North Carolina to Congress) and a secession (seceding from North Carolina, when its offer to Congress was not acted upon and the original cession was rescinded).

Greeneville High School (GHS) is a high school in Greeneville, Tennessee, a town most known as the place in which U.S. President Andrew Johnson began his political career as the city mayor. It is part of the Town of Greeneville City School System. In 2008, it was named as a Blue Ribbon School, the only high school in Tennessee to receive such honor that year.

The President Andrew Johnson Museum and Library is the presidential library and museum for Andrew Johnson, located on the Greeneville campus of Tusculum University in Tennessee.

Tusculum University is a private Presbyterian university with its main campus in Tusculum, Tennessee, United States. It is Tennessee's first university and the 28th-oldest operating college or university in the United States.In addition to its main campus, the institution maintains a regional center for Adult and Online Studies in Knoxville, and Morristown.

St. James Episcopal Church is an Episcopal church in Greeneville, Tennessee, United States. The St. James congregation was organized in 1842 as the "Greeneville Parish, Greene County," by a small group of faithful Episcopalians who gathered for worship at the Greene County Courthouse. They were admitted to the 1848 Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee, and subsequently were approved as a formal parish at the diocesan convention in July 1849. The parish constructed its present church building in 1850, modified it in 1894, and further enlarged the structure in 1951. It is said to be one of Tennessee's oldest churches. Between 1852 and 1901, St. James experienced great turmoil, having to close its doors for 18 months from 1873 to 1875. During this period St. James lapsed into mission status and did not regain its standing as a parish until 1957.

Pioneer Field is a 3,500-seat college football stadium located in Tusculum, Tennessee. The stadium is the home of the Pioneers football team of Tusculum College. The Pioneers compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II South Atlantic Conference (SAC).

Pioneer Park is a stadium on the campus of Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee. It is primarily used for baseball as the home field for the college's baseball team, the Tusculum Pioneers. It was built in 2004, and holds 4,000 people. It is also home to the Greeneville Flyboys of the summer collegiate Appalachian League. It was previously home to the Greeneville Reds Minor League Baseball team of the then-Rookie Appalachian League from 2018 to 2020 and the Greeneville Astros from 2004 to 2017.

Licensed to Greeneville, Tennessee, United States, the station is currently owned by Radio Greeneville, Inc. and features programming from CNN Radio and Westwood One.WGRV also has its own television station on Comcast Cable, channel 18, which shows local events and simulcasts WGRV's live shows and newscasts.
