The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge (Polish: Most Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland, linking the northern suburbs of Białołęka and Bielany. The structure actually consists of three parallel bridges, two for motor vehicles and one for light rail, bicycles and pedestrians. The first two parts were opened on March 24, 2012 making it the eighth road bridge in the capital of Poland, and it is now complete with the first tram line launched 21 January 2013. The construction started with a sod turning ceremony on 3 June 2009. The work was carried out by Pol-Aqua in cooperation with Spanish group Sando and Kromiss-Bis.During the design and construction works the bridge was tentatively named the North Bridge due to its most northerly location. The President of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, announced that she would petition the Warsaw City Council to name the bridge after Pope John Paul II. However, on 1 December 2011 the bridge name was officially changed to Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge to honor the Polish double Nobel Prize winner, against the opinions of citizens and District Councils of both Bielany and Białołęka districts.

Żerań is a northern suburb of Warsaw, Poland, situated in the Białołęka district. It is noted for the Żerań Power Station. The area borders with the Vistula River, the Praga-Północ district and the Tarchomin, Różopol, Konstantynów and Annopol housing estates.

The Main Library of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Polish: Biblioteka Główna Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie) is the central research library of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. It is located in Bielanski Forest Nature Reserve, next to the historic Camaldolese Church and hermitage buildings, which date back to the 17th and 18th century. The library was founded in 1954 with a 30,000-volume donation by the Theological Faculty of Warsaw and Jagiellionian Universities. Today, it is associated with the four other faculty libraries the University Library System, operating on two university campuses—Dewajtis and Wóycickiego, headed by the director of the University Library. The University Library holds nearly 500,000 printed items, with literary collections concerning theology, philosophy, history, psychology, and social sciences. It is also well known for having the largest ecclesiastical sciences book collection in Poland. The UKSW library is a member and the co-founder of the Federation of Church Libraries, also known as "Fides".

Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Polish: Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie) is a state university in Warsaw. It was founded in 1999, and it is named after Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński of Poland. It offers religious studies at the faculties of theology, Canon law and Christian philosophy under the patronage of Archbishop of Warsaw issuing permits (missio canonica) to academic staff at those faculties. The secular studies with particular sensitivity to Christian values fall under the Ministry of Education.

Żerań Heat Power Station (Polish: Elektrociepłownia Żerań) is a coal-fired heat power station in the northeastern Warsaw suburb of Żerań, Poland. Built between 1952 and 1956 to Soviet design specifications – with the first turbine becoming operational on 21 July 1954 – it underwent modernisation in the years 1997-2001 when it was taken over by Vattenfall. It is now owned by PGNiG. The station has a heat generation capacity of 1,561 MW and an electric generation capacity of 350 MW. Żerań Heat Power Station has three flue gas stacks: the tallest of which stands at 200 metres (660 ft) whilst the other two both reach a height of 110 metres (360 ft).
