The Main Library of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Polish: Biblioteka Główna Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie) is the central research library of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. It is located in Bielanski Forest Nature Reserve, next to the historic Camaldolese Church and hermitage buildings, which date back to the 17th and 18th century. The library was founded in 1954 with a 30,000-volume donation by the Theological Faculty of Warsaw and Jagiellionian Universities. Today, it is associated with the four other faculty libraries the University Library System, operating on two university campuses—Dewajtis and Wóycickiego, headed by the director of the University Library. The University Library holds nearly 500,000 printed items, with literary collections concerning theology, philosophy, history, psychology, and social sciences. It is also well known for having the largest ecclesiastical sciences book collection in Poland. The UKSW library is a member and the co-founder of the Federation of Church Libraries, also known as "Fides".

Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (Polish: Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie) is a state university in Warsaw. It was founded in 1999, and it is named after Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński of Poland. It offers religious studies at the faculties of theology, Canon law and Christian philosophy under the patronage of Archbishop of Warsaw issuing permits (missio canonica) to academic staff at those faculties. The secular studies with particular sensitivity to Christian values fall under the Ministry of Education.

Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw (Polish: Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego Józefa Piłsudskiego w Warszawie) is a public institution of higher learning in Warsaw, Poland. Named after early 20th century Polish statesman Józef Piłsudski, it was founded in 1929 as the Central Institute for Physical Exercise. During the communist period (1947–1990) it was renamed to Karol Świerczewski Academy of Physical Education (Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. gen. broni Karola Świerczewskiego). Its rector is Bartosz Molik (elected for the 2020–2024 cadence).Part of the academy is located in Biała Podlaska.

The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge (Polish: Most Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland, linking the northern suburbs of Białołęka and Bielany. The structure actually consists of three parallel bridges, two for motor vehicles and one for light rail, bicycles and pedestrians. The first two parts were opened on March 24, 2012 making it the eighth road bridge in the capital of Poland, and it is now complete with the first tram line launched 21 January 2013. The construction started with a sod turning ceremony on 3 June 2009. The work was carried out by Pol-Aqua in cooperation with Spanish group Sando and Kromiss-Bis.During the design and construction works the bridge was tentatively named the North Bridge due to its most northerly location. The President of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, announced that she would petition the Warsaw City Council to name the bridge after Pope John Paul II. However, on 1 December 2011 the bridge name was officially changed to Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge to honor the Polish double Nobel Prize winner, against the opinions of citizens and District Councils of both Bielany and Białołęka districts.

Metro Stare Bielany became the 19th working station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro when it opened on 25 October 2008 as part of the extension from Słodowiec to Młociny. It had been under construction since June, 2006. Originally, the station was to be called Bielany. The station is distinctive due to a series of wooden relief sculptures on the walls.

Metro Słodowiec is the 18th working station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro. It was opened on 23 April 2008 as the northern terminus of the extension from Marymont. On 25 October 2008, the line was extended further north to Młociny.

The Operation Bielany (Polish: Akcja Bielany) was a sabotage operation during the Second World War, organized by the Directorate of Diversion of the Home Army. At night of 3 and 4 May 1944, a small partisant division had set explosives at the Bielany Aerodrome, then used as a Luftwaffe base, successfully destroying eight aircrafts, and retreating without enduring casualties.

The Confederation Square (Polish: Plac Konfederacji) is an urban square in Warsaw. It is located in the district of Bielany, at the crossing of Płatnicza Street, Lipińska Street, Schroegera Street, and Daniłowskiego Street. The square was build in the late 1920s.

Metro Wawrzyszew, located at the corner of Kasprowicza and Lindego Street, became the 20th working station on Line M1 of the Warsaw Metro when it opened on 25 October 2008 as part of the extension from Słodowiec to Młociny. It was designed by Polish architect Andrzej M. Chołdzyński.

Słodowiec is a neighbourhood, and an area of the City Information System, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Bielany.

The Monument to the Volhynia 27th Home Army Infantry Division is located in Skwerze Wołyńskim (Volyn Square) beside the main thoroughfare Trasa Armii Krajowej in northern Warsaw. It commemorates the contribution of the Armia Krajowa's 27th Infantry Division during World War II, especially fighting the Ukrainian Insurgent Army at the time of the Volhynia massacres. The memorial was designed by sculptor Kazimierz Danilewicz (who was born in Volhynia). It was unveiled on 12 September 1993. The monument is shaped like a large stone sword. On the 13 July 2003 a set of 11 stone column "candles" was unveiled, commemorating the martyrdom of Poles from Volhynia's 11 counties, the victims of the Volhynia massacres. Each column has a coat of arms and a name of a county from Volhynia. The columns are terminated with a "wick" - the columns are illuminated from below with lights hidden in the pavement. To the right of the monument is a bust of General Jan Wojciech Kiwerski, a leader of the infantry division, who died during the war.
