Hodgin Hall, previously known at various times as the University Building, Main Building, or Administration Building, is a historic building on the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed in 1892, it was the first building constructed on the UNM campus and the university's only building for almost a decade. The building was originally designed by Jesse Wheelock in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, but structural problems with the building's roof gave university president William Tight the opportunity to have it remodeled in his preferred Pueblo Revival style in 1908. The remodeled building features stepped, asymmetrical massing, stuccoed walls, vigas, and other details characteristic of traditional Pueblo and mission architecture. As one of the first Pueblo Revival buildings in New Mexico, Hodgin Hall helped to establish the style both at the university and regionally. The building was slated for demolition in the 1970s but was preserved and restored through an alumni fundraising effort. Since 1983, it has housed the university's Alumni Association and Alumni Relations offices. Hodgin Hall is listed in both New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places.

The Cottage Bakery is a historic building on Central Avenue (former U.S. Route 66) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was built in 1937 by a local bakery, the Cottage Pure Food Shoppe, and is significant as a relatively unaltered 1930s food-vending establishment, as well as for its use of roadside novelty architecture to attract customers. The front of the building was constructed in the form of a thatched cottage, which was intended to evoke "a bucolic purity that clients would associate with dairy and bakery products". It was listed on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.The front section of the building is a one-story, side-gabled brick building with two eyebrow arches that give it the appearance of a thatched roof. It has two separate storefronts, each with multi-light corner windows and an arched doorway with brick trim. The eastern section of the building (2004 Central) originally housed the retail outlet of the Cottage bakery, while the Spot Ice Cream Company was located next door at 2000 Central. Behind the cottage is a larger, more utilitarian one-story cinder block section which housed the commercial baking plant.

Sara Raynolds Hall is a historic building on the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed in 1921, it originally housed the university's home economics department. The building was privately funded by local citizens, including the $16,000 construction cost as well as several thousand dollars worth of equipment. One of the largest donors was Joshua Raynolds, whose mother was the building's namesake.The building was designed by Edward B. Christy, who was also responsible for the Pueblo style remodeling of Hodgin Hall in 1908. As with nearly all subsequent buildings on campus, Sara Raynolds Hall also employed the Pueblo style. It is a one-story, brick bearing wall structure with a beige stucco exterior. The building was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Pig & Calf Lunch, also known as the Pig Stand Cafe, is a historic building in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is notable as a largely original example of mid-1930s commercial architecture. The building was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 1993 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Estufa is a historic structure on the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was built in 1907–08 by a local social fraternity and has served since 1915 as the primary meeting location of the university's Pi Kappa Alpha chapter. The building's history is steeped in fraternity lore and supposedly no woman has ever seen its interior. It is listed in both the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places. The Estufa is modeled after a kiva, a ceremonial meeting place used by the Pueblo people. It has thick adobe walls and contains a single windowless room with seating around the edges. Construction of the building was guided by university president William G. Tight, who promoted the use of Pueblo Revival architecture on campus. The Estufa was one of the first buildings in New Mexico to employ this style.

Carlisle Gymnasium is an indoor arena on the campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was the home of the New Mexico Lobos basketball team from its opening in 1928 until the completion of the larger Johnson Gymnasium in 1957, and was also the original venue of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. The building currently houses the university's Elizabeth Waters Center for Dance.The building was designed by the firm of Gaastra, Gladding and Johnson in the Pueblo Revival architectural style, which was the de facto official style for all new buildings on campus. In a novel application of the style, the architects used stepped massing, vigas, and other Pueblo details to mask the rectilinear form of the gymnasium. The building was completed at a cost of approximately $85,000 and was named after Hugh Carlisle, a UNM student who died in World War I. Carlisle Gymnasium was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Museum of Southwestern Biology (MSB) is a research and teaching facility in the Department of Biology of the University of New Mexico (UNM). The museum's collections include vascular plants, invertebrates and vertebrates from the American West, Central and South America, and from throughout the world. It is open to visitors by appointment. The Museum was said in 1997 to hold the largest collection of frozen tissue samples (85,000) in the western hemisphere and has assisted in the study of emerging zoonotic pathogens such as the Hantavirus and the Lassa virus.

Scholes Hall is the historic administration building of the University of New Mexico, located on the main campus in Albuquerque. It was the first of many buildings designed for the university by Santa Fe architect John Gaw Meem, who helped to cement the Pueblo Revival style as the "official" architecture of the campus. Built in 1934–36 with Public Works Administration funding, it is regarded as one of Meem's most notable designs.: 65 It is listed on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places,It is named for France Vinton Scholes (1897–1979), who was an American scholar and historian noted for his research on the history of New Spain, especially Spanish Yucatan and Southwestern United States.

The University of New Mexico Arboretum is an arboretum extending throughout the University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The arboretum contains some 320 species of woody plants, including Albizia julibrissin, Buxus microphylla japonica, Campsis radicans, Cercis canadensis, Chilopsis linearis, Cotoneaster lacteus, Cupressus arizonica, Forestiera neomexicana, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Fraxinus velutina, Ginkgo biloba, Gleditsia triacanthos inermis, Hedera helix, Juniperus communis, Juniperus sabina 'Broadmoor', Koelreuteria paniculata, Morus alba 'Pendula', Nandina domestica, Photinia serrulata, Pinus mugo, Pinus nigra, Pinus ponderosa, Pinus sylvestris, Platanus × hispanica, Poa pratensis, Populus canadensis 'Eugenii', Populus tremuloides, Rhaphiolepis indica, Salix babylonica, Ulmus pumila, Vitex agnus-castus.

Albuquerque Rapid Transit, also known as ART, is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system serving the Central Avenue corridor in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. There are two lines running between Tramway Boulevard (NM 556), the Central and Unser Transit Center (CUTC), and the Uptown Transit Center (UTC). It was built in 2016–17 and began limited operation in November 2017, but was subsequently delayed for over two years due to problems with the stations and buses. After the original fleet of electric buses was replaced with diesel buses, the line began regular service on November 30, 2019.

The University of New Mexico Art Museum (sometimes referred to as the University Art Museum or UNM Art Museum) is an art museum at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The museum's permanent collection includes nearly 30,000 objects, making it the largest collection of fine art in New Mexico.

Silver Hill is a neighborhood in southeast Albuquerque, New Mexico, which is significant as one of the oldest developments on the city's East Mesa. Much of the neighborhood is included in the Silver Hill Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The neighborhood is roughly bounded by Central Avenue, Yale Boulevard, Central New Mexico Community College, and Presbyterian Hospital. The northeast corner of the neighborhood borders the University of New Mexico campus.
