CINQ-FM

Rosemont station is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. The station opened on October 14, 1966, as part of the original network of the Metro.

The Peck Building is a repurposed textile factory in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Completed in 1904, the five-story brick building initially housed John W. Peck & Co., Montreal's second-largest clothing manufacturer at the time. The company oversaw the Peck's expansion, completed in 1913, and remained the sole occupant of the building until it was subdivided in the 1930s. Textile manufacturing remained the main practice amongst its tenants until the 1990s, when globalization drove out the industry from the city. The workshops were gradually repurposed. The animation software designer Discreet Logic occupied the top floor between 1993 and 1997, during which time it produced technology for blockbuster films like Titanic. When it moved out, the French gaming company Ubisoft took over the space for its recently opened Montreal branch. Ubisoft Montreal, becoming the largest video game studio in the world by workforce, rapidly grew into occupying the entire building. The presence of the Peck Building in the heart of the Mile End, at the corner of Boulevard Saint-Laurent and Rue Saint-Viateur, played a major role in the development of the neighbourhood. With John W. Peck & Co. and Ubisoft Montreal, it has twice housed the largest employer in the Mile End over the span of more than a century.

Ubisoft Divertissements Inc., doing business as Ubisoft Montreal, is a Canadian video game developer and a studio of Ubisoft based in Montreal. The studio was founded in April 1997 as part of Ubisoft's growth into worldwide markets, with subsidies from the governments of Montreal, Quebec, and Canada to help create new multimedia jobs. The studio's initial products were low-profile children's games based on existing intellectual property. Ubisoft Montreal's break-out titles were 2002's Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and 2003's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Subsequently, the studio continued to develop sequels and related games in both series, and developing its own intellectual properties such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, and For Honor. As of 2021, the studio employs more than 4,000 staff, making it one of the largest game development studios in the world. The studio also helped to establish Montreal as a creative city, and brought other video game developers to establish studios there.

The Church of St. Michael and St. Anthony is a Roman Catholic church located in Mile End, Montreal. It was originally built as the Church of St. Michael and frequented by Irish Catholics. The growth of the Polish community in the area caused in 1964 for a Polish mission to be inaugurated in the church, whose name was expanded to "St. Michael and St. Anthony".The church exemplifies cultural hybridity by being a Byzantine-styled church, built for Irish Catholics, in a multicultural neighbourhood, and being home today to mostly Poles and Italians. The church has also been noted for its Byzantine Revival architecture, complete with a dome and minaret-styled tower, and so is "one of the more unique examples of church architecture in Montréal."

Gouin is a provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of the province of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of part of the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough of Montreal. The riding covers the neighbourhoods of La Petite-Patrie and Parc Molson, plus a small part of Vieux-Rosemont. It was created for the 1966 election from parts of Montréal-Laurier and Montréal–Jeanne-Mance. Its territory was unchanged during the switch from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map. It is named after former Quebec Premier, Lomer Gouin, who was in power from 1905 to 1920.

Beaubien Street (officially in French: rue Beaubien) is a major east-west street located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The street links Autoroute 25 in the east and Durocher Avenue in the west.The street is named after Pierre Beaubien, the physician and political figure in Canada East and father of Louis Beaubien, the founder of Outremont in 1875 and deputy to the Legislative Assembly for many years.

Saint-Édouard Church (French: Église Saint-Édouard) is a Roman Catholic church in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is dedicated to Edward the Confessor, the King of England from 1047 until 1066. Its construction started in 1901 and was completed in 1909. Its address is 6500 Saint-Vallier Street, near the intersection of Saint Denis Street and Beaubien Street.

Galerie Youn is an art gallery featuring up-and-coming Canadian and international artists in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, most of whom were discovered on Instagram. Originally established online as the Flying Rooster Contemporary Project (FRCP) in 2012, the gallery opened in 2013 as a brick and mortar location in Montreal's Mile End. Now located at 384 St. Paul Street West in the Old-Port's historical district (summer 2021), the gallery represents emerging and mid-career contemporary artists, typically half from Canada and half from the U.S., Europe and Asia. In 2021, the gallery received the "Best in the City" award from Time Out. Their book catalogues are part of the permanent collection of the Thomas J. Watson Library. The director and founder, Juno Youn, is a native of South Korea and a graduate of OCAD.

La Petite-Patrie is a neighbourhood of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie. The area is bounded on the west by Hutchison Street, to the north by Jean Talon Street, to the south by the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks, and to the east by Papineau Street.La Petite-Patrie is named after the novel La Petite Patrie by Claude Jasmin, which was published in 1972 and was adapted into television series (La Petite Patrie) shortly afterward. Originally a working-class neighbourhood, La Petite-Patrie began to gentrify in the early 21st century.

Les Brasseurs RJ is a brewery located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The company was founded in 1998 by Roger Jaar from the merger of three microbreweries: Les Brasseurs GMT, La Brasserie Le Cheval Blanc and Les Brasseurs de l'Anse. Current annual production capacity is over 125,000 hL; they claim to be the largest microbrewery in Quebec. They currently employ 450 people, including employees at the head office in Montreal, a distribution centre in Quebec City, and a brewery in l'Anse St-Jean that fills beer kegs.In addition to a variety of beers of their own fabrication and recipe, the microbrewery brews two d'Achouffe beers under licence and distributes the Bitburger Premium Beer, Köstritzer Schwarzbier, König Pilsner, and Wernesgrüner for the Quebec market. A portion of their sales from the "Rescousse" brand used to collect funds for the preservation of endangered species via a donation to the Fondation de la faune du Québec.Due to the brewery's location in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough in Montreal, and their extensive sponsorship of local events, they are known as the "Official Brewer of the Avenue" (Mount-Royal Avenue)Peter McAuslan, President, and Ellen Bounsall, Vice-President Production, founders and majority shareholders of La Brasserie McAuslan Brewing Inc., announced in April 2014 that they sold their holdings to Les Brasseurs RJ. Wilensky's Light Lunch (French: Casse-croûte Wilensky), also styled as simply Wilensky to conform to Bill 101, is a kosher-style lunch counter located at 34 Fairmount Avenue West in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Opened in 1932 by Moe Wilensky, the restaurant was immortalized in Mordecai Richler's novel, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz. Scenes in the film version of the book were shot in the restaurant.
