Saint-Ambroise Church (French: Église Saint-Ambroise) is a church in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is situated on Beaubien Street, between de La Roche Street et de Normanville Street.

Beaubien station is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Orange Line. The station opened on October 14, 1966, as part of the original network of the Metro.

The Gargantua bar attack was a shooting and arson-attack that occurred at the Gargantua, a nightclub bar located on 1369 rue Beaubien Est in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on January 21, 1975, killing 13 individuals, including the manager. The Gargantua, which had been known for being a meeting place for underworld figures, was previously the scene of a double-shooting killing of two criminals in October 1974. During the attack, the Gargantua's manager, believed to having been a witness to the preceding shooting, was shot and killed. The remaining 12 individuals succumbed to asphyxiation after being herded into a padlocked closet shortly before the establishment was set on fire. Three days following the attack, criminal Richard Blass, the primary suspect, was shot and killed by police.

Beaubien Street (officially in French: rue Beaubien) is a major east-west street located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The street links Autoroute 25 in the east and Durocher Avenue in the west.The street is named after Pierre Beaubien, the physician and political figure in Canada East and father of Louis Beaubien, the founder of Outremont in 1875 and deputy to the Legislative Assembly for many years.

Saint-Édouard Church (French: Église Saint-Édouard) is a Roman Catholic church in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is dedicated to Edward the Confessor, the King of England from 1047 until 1066. Its construction started in 1901 and was completed in 1909. Its address is 6500 Saint-Vallier Street, near the intersection of Saint Denis Street and Beaubien Street.

Gouin is a provincial electoral district in the Montreal region of the province of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of part of the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough of Montreal. The riding covers the neighbourhoods of La Petite-Patrie and Parc Molson, plus a small part of Vieux-Rosemont. It was created for the 1966 election from parts of Montréal-Laurier and Montréal–Jeanne-Mance. Its territory was unchanged during the switch from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map. It is named after former Quebec Premier, Lomer Gouin, who was in power from 1905 to 1920.

CINQ-FM is a multilingual Canadian radio station located in Montreal, Quebec. It broadcasts on 102.3 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 1,285 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 2,335 watts (class A). Its studios are located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. The station operates under a community radio licence and offers varied programming in seven different languages whereas all programmes are produced and animated by volunteers. It identifies itself as "Radio Centre-Ville". CINQ-FM opened on 27 January 1975; at the time the station was on 99.3 MHz and used only 7.5 watts of power. Originally, the station aired programming in five different languages, hence the call sign ("cinq" being the French word for "five"). Those five languages were English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Greek. It has since added Arabic and Haitian Creole programming to its lineup.

Saint-Arsène Church (French: Église Saint-Arsène) is a church in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie in Montreal. Its address is 1015 Bélanger Street, at the corner of Christophe Colomb Avenue. Constructed in 1954 based on a design by architect Joseph-Armand Dutrisac, it distinguished itself with its ogival shaped belltower.

Dante Park (French: Parc Dante) is a park in the Little Italy neighbourhood of the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It covers about one-third of a local city block, bordered by Dante Street to the north, Alma Street to the east, residential buildings to the south, and de Gaspe Street to the west. The park was inaugurated on June 26, 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the predominantly Italian Canadian parish of the Church of the Madonna della Difesa. It is located opposite the church. Dante Park was named for Dante Street, which itself was named for Dante Alighieri (1265-1321) a major Italian poet of the Late Middle Ages, who authored Divine Comedy, which is widely considered the most important poem of the Middle Ages and the greatest literary work in the Italian language.

Les Brasseurs RJ is a brewery located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The company was founded in 1998 by Roger Jaar from the merger of three microbreweries: Les Brasseurs GMT, La Brasserie Le Cheval Blanc and Les Brasseurs de l'Anse. Current annual production capacity is over 125,000 hL; they claim to be the largest microbrewery in Quebec. They currently employ 450 people, including employees at the head office in Montreal, a distribution centre in Quebec City, and a brewery in l'Anse St-Jean that fills beer kegs.In addition to a variety of beers of their own fabrication and recipe, the microbrewery brews two d'Achouffe beers under licence and distributes the Bitburger Premium Beer, Köstritzer Schwarzbier, König Pilsner, and Wernesgrüner for the Quebec market. A portion of their sales from the "Rescousse" brand used to collect funds for the preservation of endangered species via a donation to the Fondation de la faune du Québec.Due to the brewery's location in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough in Montreal, and their extensive sponsorship of local events, they are known as the "Official Brewer of the Avenue" (Mount-Royal Avenue)Peter McAuslan, President, and Ellen Bounsall, Vice-President Production, founders and majority shareholders of La Brasserie McAuslan Brewing Inc., announced in April 2014 that they sold their holdings to Les Brasseurs RJ. They will have no further role in the operations of McAuslan.
