Enka Sport Hall (Turkish: Enka Spor Salonu) is an indoor multi-purpose sport venue that is located in Aliağa, İzmir Province, Turkey. The hall has a seating capacity of 2,500 spectators. The sport hall was built by Enka Foundation and donated to Aliağa Municipality. Opened in 2003, it is home to wrestling and basketball branches of the Aliağa Youth and Sports Club. The basketball team of the club plays currently in the Turkish Basketball League.

Aliağa railway station (Turkish: Aliağa istasyonu) is a railway station in Aliağa, Turkey and is the northern terminus of the Northern Line of the İZBAN commuter rail system. The station was built in 1996 by the Turkish State Railways but remained without passenger train service until 30 January 2011, when the Northern Line was extended north from Çiğli.

Tüpraş Izmir Oil Refinery (Turkish: Tüpraş İzmir Rafinerisi) is an oil refinery in Izmir, western Turkey. It is owned and operated by Tüpraş, the country's only oil refiner with four refineries. Izmir Oil Refinery is located at Aliağa district of İzmir Province. It became operational in 1972 with an annual crude oil refining capacity of about 5.0 million tonnes. Following investments for expansion and modernization, its annual refining capacity reached 10.0 million tonnes in 1987. After the overhaul works took place in 2007, the capacity increased to 11.0 million tonnes per year. In 2016, the refinery processed crude oil and byproducts of 11.7 million tonnes in total. The products are liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), petroleum naphtha, gasoline, jet fuel (ATF), diesel fuel, base oil, heating oil, fuel oil, asphalt base, wax and some others. Izmir Refinery is the country's only facility, which has a grease production complex with an annual capacity of 400,000 tonnes. In 2016, products in total of 10.4 million tonnes were sold, being 7.3 million tonnes at domestic markets. The storage capacity of the refinery is 2.51 million tonnes. The facility has a Nelson complexity index of 7.66. 1,353 personnel are employed in the facility.

Aliağa Wind Farm is an onshore wind power plant in Aliağa district of İzmir Province in western Turkey. The wind farm consists of four fields operated by different companies. A total of 83 wind turbines have an installed output power of 193 MW generating about 480 GWh a year.

SOCAR Star Oil Refinery or SOCAR STAR Oil Refinery or Star Aegean is an oil refinery in Aliaga, western Turkey. It is operated by the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan SOCAR, who holds 60% of the ownership. The remaining 40% being owned by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The construction of the refinery started in 2011, cost around US$6-7 billion and became operational in October 2018. The refinery has a capacity of refining 10 million tons of crude oil per year, around 200,000 barrels per day.

Myrina (Ancient Greek: Μυρίνα) was one of the Aeolian cities on the western coast of Mysia, about 40 stadia to the southwest of Gryneion. The former bishopric is now a Latin Catholic titular see. Its site is believed to be occupied by the modern Sandarlik at the mouth of the Koca Çay, near the town of Aliağa in Izmir Province, in the Aegean Region of Turkey, near Kalavas(ar)i.

Aliağa Ship Breaking Yard is the world's fourth largest ship breaking yard located across a 10 km (6.2 mi) long beachfront at Aliaga, Turkey. The yard consists of 132 ship-breaking plots.

Biçerova station (Turkish: Biçerova istasyonu) is a railway station on the Northern Line of the IZBAN commuter rail system. It is located a few kilometers south of Aliağa and 55.4 km (34.4 mi) north of Alsancak Terminal in Izmir. The station is also a transfer center for buses to Yenifoça on the Aegean Sea. Biçerova was built in 1996 by the Turkish State Railways and closed to passenger traffic in 2006. On 30 January 2011, passenger service resumed with the extension of the Northern Line to Aliağa.

İzmir gas power plant (Turkish: İzmir Doğalgaz Kombine Çevrim Santrali) is a gas-fired power station in İzmir Province in western Turkey.

Etki Liman LNG Facility is a floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO) for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in İzmir Province, western Turkey. It is country's first floating LNG storage facility. The floating LNG storage facility is the vessel MT GDF Suez Neptune, which sailed from France to Turkey and moored at a special pier of Terminal in Aliağa district of İzmir Province on December 11, 2016. The 2009-built Norway-flagged LNG carrier is 283 m (928 ft) long and has a beam of 43 m (141 ft). She is capable of storing 145,000 m3 (5,100,000 cu ft) LNG. She can regasify LNG delivered from other ships. The floating storage facility went in service as Turkey's first one of its kind on December 23, 2016. It is planned that the annual storage capacity of the Aliağa Terminal, operated by, will be 5.3 million tons. It will increase country's daily natural gas supply capacity from 191,000,000 m3 (6.7×109 cu ft) up to 224,000,000 m3 (7.9×109 cu ft).

Aliaga Habas power station (Turkish: Habaş/ Aliağa-DGKÇ Santrali) is a gas-fired power station in İzmir Province in western Turkey. Like the nearby İzmir gas power plant it is one of the few gigawatt scale power stations in Turkey. However İzmir has a lot of potential for more solar, wind and geothermal energy. Because hydropower is almost all much further east gas is the main source of flexible power in western Turkey and, as of 2022, gas is expensive: geothermal could be made more flexible to balance an increase in solar and wind.

İzdemir power station is a 350-megawatt coal-fired power station in Turkey in İzmir Province, which burns imported coal. Although coal is the prinary fuel the plant can also run on fossil gas. Climate TRACE estimated it emitted nearly two million tons of greenhouse gas in Turkey in 2022, and the company has been put on the Urgewald Global Coal Exit List.
