Ministry of Economy (Serbia)

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia (Serbian: Министарство финансија, romanized: Ministarstvo finansija) is the ministry in the Government of Serbia in charge of finances. The current minister is Siniša Mali, who is in office from 29 May 2018. Ministry's headquarters are located in the Ministry of Finance of Serbia Building.

The Church of the Ascension (Serbian: Вазнесењска црква, romanized: Vaznesenjska crkva) is a Serbian Orthodox church in downtown Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It still uses the bell under which the Hatisheriff of 1830 was announced, by which the Ottoman Empire granted autonomy to Serbia. The church was declared a cultural monument in 1969.

The Yugoslav Ministry of Defence building (Serbian: Савезни секретариjaт за народну одбрану, romanized: Savezni Sekretarijat za Narodnu Odbranu, lit. "Federal Secretariat for the People's Defense"), also known as the Yugoslav General Staff (Serbian: Зграда Генералштаба, romanized: Zgrada Generalštaba, lit. "General Staff Building") is a building that was previously occupied by the Ministry of Defence of Yugoslavia, a governmental department responsible for defending the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from internal and external military threats. Considered to be a masterpiece of post-war architecture, it was bombed and heavily damaged during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. Today, only a small non-damaged portion of the building is used by the Ministry of Defence of Serbia.

Hammam of Prince Miloš is the former Turkish bath in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Built in 1836-37, it was declared a cultural monument in 1948.

Through the history of Yugoslavia, the defence ministry which was responsible for defence of the country was known under several different names. The Beograđanka (Serbian Cyrillic: Београђанка; pronounced [beǒɡradʑaːŋka], lit. "Belgrade Lady"), officially Belgrade Palace (Serbian: Палата Београд, romanized: Palata Beograd, pronounced [palǎta beǒɡrad]) is a modern high-rise building in the Belgrade downtown area. A 101 m (331 ft) tall structure, it is one of the symbols of the city and representative of the "golden age" in the development of Belgrade during the 1965–1974 mayoral term of Branko Pešić.

Nemanjina Street (Serbian: Немањина улица / Nemanjina ulica, English: Nemanja Street) is a very important thoroughfare in downtown Belgrade, Serbia, in the Savski Venac municipality. After the completion of the construction of the Railway station in 1884, it became one of the city's main infrastructure links. The street got its name in 1896, when it was named after a Serbian ruler from the 12th century, Stefan Nemanja.
