Royal Military Exhibition

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is a retirement home and nursing home for some 300 veterans of the British Army. Founded as an almshouse, the ancient sense of the word "hospital", it is a 66-acre (27 ha) site located on Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea. It is an independent charity and relies partly upon donations to cover day-to-day running costs to provide care and accommodation for veterans. Residents are known as Chelsea Pensioners. The gardens of the Royal Hospital are Grade II listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, formally known as the Great Spring Show, is a garden show held for five days in May by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in Chelsea, London. Held at Chelsea since 1912, the show is attended by members of the British Royal Family.Highlights to the Chelsea Flower Show include the avant-garde show gardens designed by leading names with Floral Marquee at the centrepiece. The Show also features smaller gardens such as the Artisan and Urban Gardens.

Gordon House is a large 19th-century detached house in Chelsea, London, SW3. The house is sited in two acres of the south west corner of the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. It was designed by Thomas Leverton for Colonel James Willoughby Gordon. The house became part of the Royal Hospital following Gordon's death in 1851, and has recently been converted into a private residence.

The statue of Charles II stands in the Figure, or Middle, Court of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London. The sculptor was Grinling Gibbons, and the statue was executed around 1680–1682. The king founded the Royal Hospital in 1682 as a home for retired army veterans. The statue is a Grade I listed structure.

The National Army Museum is the British Army's central museum. It is located in the Chelsea district of central London, adjacent to the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the home of the "Chelsea Pensioners". The museum is a non-departmental public body. It is usually open to the public from 10:00 to 17:30, except on 25–26 December and 1 January. Admission is free. Its remit for the overall history of British land forces contrasts with those of other military museums in the United Kingdom concentrating on the history of individual corps and regiments of the British Army. It also differs from the subject matter of the Imperial War Museum, another national museum in London, which has a wider remit of theme (war experiences of British civilians and military personnel from all three services) but a narrower remit of time (after 1914).

Crimean Tom (also known as Tom or Sevastopol Tom) was a cat noted for his association with the British Army during the Crimean War. Found by Lieutenant William Gair in Sevastopol after a year-long siege, he is said to have led British forces to valuable caches of hidden supplies that helped ease starvation among the troops. Gair brought Tom back to England after the war but the cat died soon afterwards. He was stuffed and presented to the Royal United Services Institute. A stuffed cat bought in a flea market in the 1950s is in the collection of the National Army Museum and is sometimes described as being Tom, but there is no proof it is the same cat.

Royal Hospital Road is a street in Chelsea, London, England. It runs between Chelsea Embankment on the north bank of the River Thames to the southwest and a junction with Lower Sloane Street, Pimlico Road and Chelsea Bridge Road to the northeast. Also adjacent are Tite Street to the south and Flood Street to the north. The road is designated the B302. The closest tube station is Sloane Square to the north along Lower Sloane Street. To the southwest of Royal Hospital Road is the Royal Hospital Chelsea, hence the name. The National Army Museum is located next to the Royal Hospital Chelsea. To the south is the Chelsea Physic Garden. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is at 68 Royal Hospital Road, formerly the site of another Michelin 3-starred restaurant, La Tante Claire.

The London Sketch Club is a private members club for artists working in the field of commercial graphic art, mainly for newspapers, periodicals, and books.

Tite Street is a street in Chelsea, London, England, within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, just north of the River Thames. It was laid out from 1877 by the Metropolitan Board of Works, giving access to the Chelsea Embankment.

Ranelagh Gardens (; alternative spellings include Ranelegh and Ranleigh, the latter reflecting the English pronunciation) were public pleasure gardens located in Chelsea, then just outside London, England, in the 18th century.

The Old Burial Ground is a cemetery for people associated with the Royal Hospital Chelsea. It is located at the north east corner of the Royal Hospital grounds, alongside the London Road. The Old Burial Ground is Grade II listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens as part of the larger Royal Hospital site.The ground was consecrated for burials in August 1691. 10,000 interments were made at the Old Burial Ground until 1854. The last burial was made in 1854. The ground re-opened for the burials of cremated remains in 2004. Following the closure of the Old Burial Ground pensioners were buried at Brompton Cemetery between 1855 and 1893 and have since been buried at the New Plot at Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey since 1962; the Old Plot at Brookwood having closed that year.A variety of funerary monuments are present at the Old Burial Ground including headstones, table tombs and slabs.

Burton Court (sometimes called Bourton Court) is a park in Chelsea, London. It belongs to the Royal Chelsea Hospital which is situated on the southside of Royal Hospital Road, and comprises three tennis courts, a tennis academy and a cricket pitch. Burton Court serves as home ground to the Household Division, thus hosting cricket matches many of which involve Army regiments.
