Tunnel (New York nightclub)

The Starrett–Lehigh Building at 601 West 26th Street, between Eleventh and Twelfth Avenues and between 26th and 27th Streets in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City, is a full-block freight terminal, warehouse and office building. It was built in 1930–31 as a joint venture of the Starrett Corporation and the Lehigh Valley Railroad on a lot where the railroad had its previous freight terminal, and was designed by the firm of Cory & Cory, with Yasuo Matsui the associate architect and the firm of Purdy & Henderson the consulting, structural engineers.

Pier 63 was the name for a former Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad railroad barge on the Hudson River in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City. It was originally located near 23rd Street, adjacent to Chelsea Piers and Hudson River Park. It had been purchased from a used car salesman in Staten Island by John Krevey in October 1996 and delivered by a tugboat. This barge formerly carried railroad boxcars across the Hudson River before the advent of containerized freight or tunnels beneath the river. The land side of Pier 63 was formerly used as a freight transfer station for the Baltimore and Ohio railroad where freight was moved from the boxcars on the barges to local conveyance. In the spring of 2007 the barge was relocated from 23rd Street to Pier 66A at 26th Street, on the Hudson River, and was renamed Pier 66 Maritime. The barge currently has an Erie Lackawanna caboose on display. Two historical boats were primarily located here: the lightvessel Frying Pan and the fireboat John J. Harvey. On the same Pier 66A, there are storage facilities for kayaks, as well as a dock to launch. New York Water Taxi once had a stop on the Pier. John Krevey, who ran Pier 66 Maritime, died on February 4, 2011. Krevey was one of the earliest members of Friends of Hudson River Park and a member of the Friends’ board of directors until 2010.

Foxy Production is a New York contemporary art gallery founded by Michael Gillespie and John Thomson.Foxy Production, established in 2003, is currently located in Chinatown, New York City. Windowed on three sides and housed within a landmark Victorian building, the gallery space is designed by London architects Matheson Whiteley. Foxy Production inaugurated its gallery program in January 2003 after a series of intermittent projects between 2001 and 2002. The gallery opened in Brooklyn and then moved to Manhattan in September 2003. In January 2006 it opened a new ground floor space in west Chelsea before moving to Chinatown.Gallery artists include Hany Armanious, Gina Beavers, Michael Bell-Smith, Olga Chernysheva, Srijon Chowdhury, Petra Cortright, Sara Cwynar, Simone Gilges, Gabriel Hartley, Violet Hopkins, Stephen Lichty, Cindy Ji Hye Kim, Ester Partegàs, Sterling Ruby, and Travess Smalley.Besides its core program, the gallery has presented a number of curated exhibitions, including Minty (2012), Highways Connect and Divide (2011); The Phantasm (2011) Cloud (2011) Abstract Abstract (2009); Networked Nature (2007) Autonomy (2005), the Dare performance series (2005), and The Infinite Fill Show (2004). More recent group shows include Design for Living (2018) and Mature Themes (2018).

Originally, the company was best known for its classic "black and white" styles, with which different colors are paired, but this is no longer a focus in each collection.

North River Pier 66 is a public boat house in Manhattan, New York, United States, located at 12th Avenue and 26th Street on the Hudson River. New York River Sports, located at Pier 66, comprises Hudson River Community Sailing, NY Kayak Polo, and New York Outrigger, who all share the facility.The fireboat John J. Harvey, which offers occasional public boat rides, and the lightship Frying Pan, which is open to the public, are moored at Pier 66.

Printed Matter, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit grant-supported bookstore, artist organization, and arts space which publishes and distributes artists' books. It is currently located at 231 11th Avenue in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City.

The West 30th Street Heliport (IATA: JRA, ICAO: KJRA, FAA LID: JRA) is a heliport on the west side of Manhattan in New York City. The original heliport opened with two landing pads on September 26, 1956, and that December New York Airways began scheduled passenger flights, the first airline flights to Manhattan. It is owned by the Hudson River Park Trust and operated by Abigail Trenk and Brian Tolbert.

Hav & Mar is a restaurant in Chelsea, New York City. The restaurant opened in the Starrett–Lehigh Building in 2022.

The West Chelsea Historic District is a portion of the neighborhood of Chelsea in Manhattan, New York City. It was designated as the city's 92nd historic district in July 2008 by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.It encompasses a portion of the streets between 25th and 28th Streets between Tenth Avenue and the West Side Highway and was designated as such for its architectural and manufacturing heritage. Approximately 30 structures within the district date from between 1885 and 1930 including the London Terrace Gardens, the Otis Elevator Building and the Terminal Stores building. Some of the galleries in the Chelsea Arts District are housed in the District's historic buildings.

606 West 30th Street is a building under construction in Hudson Yards, Manhattan, New York City designed by architect Ismael Levya. Lalezarian is developing the building in coordination with Douglaston Development, which is constructing a neighboring building at 601 West 29th Street. Lalezarian purchased the development site for $36 million in 2015. 606 will sit on infill that was once the Hudson River. Andrew Nelson, writing for real estate website New York YIMBY, has said of the design that: "...the outdated reference and limited formal experimentation do not inspire fascination".The building will be adjacent to the High Line park and the Hudson Yards development.

The Fischbach Gallery is an art gallery in New York City. It was founded by Marilyn Cole Fischbach in 1960 at 799 Madison Avenue. The gallery in its early days became known for hosting the first significant solo exhibitions of now leading art world figures including Eva Hesse, Alex Katz and Gary Kuehn.In 1966 the Fishbach Gallery opened the groundbreaking exhibition Eccentric Abstraction curated by Lucy Lippard which is considered the first Postminimal, art exhibition. The exhibition included Alice Adams, Louis Bourgeois, Gary Kuehn, Eva Hesse, Bruce Nauman, Don Potts, Keith Sonnier and Frank Lincoln.The Fischbach Gallery would later move to two consecutive locations on 57th Street. In the 1970s Marilyn Fischbach hired Aladar Marberger as gallery director. Marberger shifted the gallery's emphasis from Avant-Garde Art to Realism. The gallery included artists Leigh Behnke, Lois Dodd, Jane Freilicher, Ian Hornak, Knox Martin, and Neil Welliver.In the early 1980s, Marilyn Fischbach decided to take on three additional investors in the gallery, although she remained a partial owner until her death in 2003. One of the investors, Beverly Zagor, became an active partner until her death in May 2011. Another investor and active partner, Lawrence L. DiCarlo, is gallery director. The Fischbach Gallery remains open and has relocated to 210 Eleventh Avenue in New York. It focuses primarily on contemporary realism.

Chelsea Waterside Park, formerly Thomas F. Smith Park, is a public park located at West 23rd Street between 11th and 12th Avenues along the West Side Highway in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City. It was originally operated by the government of New York City under the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. As of 2023 it is part of the Chelsea section of Hudson River Park and managed by the Hudson River Park Trust. The park was originally the site of a small freight yard for the Erie Railroad. In 1906, the railroad redeveloped the site into a park, as part of the reconstruction of the adjacent ferry terminal. In 1915, the park was taken over by the Parks Department, and was named for politician Thomas Francis Smith following his death in 1923. The construction of the West Side Elevated Highway in the early 1930s split the park into two adjacent sections. Chelsea Waterside Park was designed in the late 1980s by architect Thomas Balsley. Half of the proposed park would be an expansion of the existing Smith Park, and the other half would be developed on the waterfront atop Piers 62, 63 and 64, with the two halves connected by a footbridge. The inland portion of Chelsea Waterside Park was constructed in the 1990s as a part of Hudson River Park during the redevelopment of the West Side Highway, and opened in 2000. The waterfront sections proposed for the park were completed in 2010 under a separate project. Between 2017 and 2023, major renovations took place in Chelsea Waterside Park, with a redesigned playground opening in 2018 and the remaining upgrades completed by 2023.
