Crosby was a constituency in Merseyside, represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1950 until 2010. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

St Mary's College is an independent Roman Catholic coeducational day school in Crosby, Merseyside, about 7 miles (11 km) north of Liverpool. It comprises an early years department "Bright Sparks" (age 4 and under), preparatory school known as "The Mount" (age 4-11) and secondary school with a 6th Form (age 11-18). The Seafield Convent of the Sacred Heart of Mary (1908–1977) was a Roman Catholic convent school for girls run by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary founded in Crosby, England, in 1872. The school soon moved to Seafield House in Seaforth, which gave it the name by which it is best known. The school moved to Liverpool Road, Crosby in 1905. It merged with St Bede's Secondary Modern in 1977 to form Sacred Heart Catholic College.

The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. The east end of the church was rebuilt following a fire in 1972.

Crosby United Reformed Church, originally Great Crosby Congregational Church, is on the corner of Eshe Road and Mersey Road in Great Crosby, a suburb of Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It is an active congregation of the United Reformed Church. The authors of the Buildings of England series, referring to the architecture of the church, say "The whole is very satisfying".

Crosby is a coastal town in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, Merseyside, England. Historically in Lancashire, it is north of Bootle, south of Southport and Formby and west of Netherton.

Marine Association Football Club is an English football club based in Crosby, Merseyside. The club, which was founded in 1894, is a member of both the Liverpool County and Lancashire County Football Associations, and currently plays in the Northern Premier League Division One West. Marine is notable for having the longest serving manager in postwar English football. Roly Howard occupied the post from 1972 to 2005 and oversaw a total of 1,975 games.

Affordable Football Club Liverpool is a semi-professional football club based in Liverpool, England. The club were formed in 2008 by 1,000 supporters of Liverpool Football Club; a not-for-profit organisation, it is run on a one-member, one-vote system. They are currently members of the North West Counties League Premier Division and play at Marine's Rossett Park.

Victoria is a Metropolitan Borough of Sefton ward in the Bootle Parliamentary constituency that covers the locality of Great Crosby. The population of this ward at the 2011 census was 13,252.
