Harvest Christian Academy (HCA) is a private Christian school in Barrigada, Guam. The school offers open enrollment for grades K3-12. HCA is administrated by and closely associated with Harvest Baptist Church (HBC). HBC was started in 1975 as a missionary church. The school was started the same year for the children of the congregation members. Over the years, the school's enrollment was opened to the community of Guam and now enrolls nearly 1,000 students each year in K3-12th grade. Harvest Ministries, Guam now also owns and operates KHMG radio station. The campus is spread out on 12 acres (49,000 m2) consisting of classrooms for kindergarten, elementary, junior and senior high. HCA also offers two computer labs, science lab, and library to their students. The school has an outdoor basketball court, soccer field, art room and piano lab for extracurricular activities. Also available to the school and public is a bookstore and cafe. In April 2009, the Family Life Center, also known as the FLC, was added to Harvest's list of buildings. This is the main site of Harvest's wrestling and American football games for the junior high and high school. Harvest's middle school soccer team has won the championship four times in a row, while the high school team has won it once. Harvest's sports' teams are called the HCA Eagles and Lady Hawks.

Barrigada (Chamorro: Barigåda) is a village in the United States territory of Guam. A largely residential municipality, its main village is located south of the Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport near the intersections of Routes 8, 10, and 16. The community east of the airport known as Barrigada Heights is considered an affluent neighborhood on the island, where homes have excellent views overlooking much of Guam including the island's airport and hotels along Tumon Bay. Another significant location is Mount Barrigada, nearly 200 meters above sea level. Its location in the center of the island means it houses most of the island's radio masts and towers; the position and height make it easier for radio signals to reach the entire island.

Mongmong-Toto-Maite (Chamorro: Mong Mong-Totu-Maiti) is a municipality in the United States territory of Guam composed of three separate villages east of Hagåtña that experienced development after the Second World War. Mongmong is adjacent to the Hagåtña Swamp; Toto is situated to the north-east near Barrigada; Maite is located on the cliffs overlooking Agana Bay and the Philippine Sea. The village's population has decreased since the island's 2010 census.

The Spanish Dikes, located northeast of Agana Springs, Hagåtña, Guam, are historic 19th-century water control structures that were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. There are two sections of dikes in a swampy region outside Hagåtña. Both sections are constructed of mortared limestone, with buttresses for support, and openings at the top that act as sluiceways where water flow could be controlled. One section is about 70 metres (230 ft) long, varying in thickness from 0.3 to 1 metre (0.98 to 3.28 ft), while the other is 22.5 metres (74 ft) long. The construction dates of these dikes is unknown, but similar structures were likely to exist in the area in the 1830s, and in the 1870s the area was being used for cultivation of rice by Filipino penal labor in an effort to solve the island's long-standing issues with insufficient food production.

The area code 671 is the local telephone area code of the United States territory of Guam. It was created with the beginning of permissive dialing on July 1, 1997, replacing Guam's previous International Telecommunication Union country code 671 at the end of permissive dialing on July 1, 1998.

Mangilao is a village on the eastern shore of the United States territory of Guam. The village's population has decreased slightly since the island's 2010 census. Cliffs lie along much of the village's shoreline provide dramatic views, including of Pago Bay along Mangilao's southern coastline, but few of Mangilao's beaches are available for recreational uses. The island's main prison is in Mangilao.

Guam is a U.S. territory in the western Pacific Ocean, at the boundary of the Philippine Sea. It is the southernmost and largest member of the Mariana Islands archipelago, which is itself the northernmost group of islands in Micronesia. The closest political entity is the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), another U.S. territory. Guam shares maritime boundaries with CNMI to the north and the Federated States of Micronesia to the south. It is located approximately one quarter of the way from the Philippines to Hawaii. Its location and size make it strategically important. It is the only island with both a protected harbor and land for multiple airports between Asia and Hawaii, on an east–west axis, and between Papua New Guinea and Japan, on a north–south axis. The island is a result of the volcanic activity created by subduction of the Pacific Plate under the Philippine Sea Plate at the nearby Mariana Trench, which runs from the east of Guam to the southwest. Volcanic eruptions established the base of the island in the Eocene, roughly 56 to 33.9 million years ago (mya). The north of Guam is a result of this base being covered with layers of coral reef, turning into limestone, and then being thrust by tectonic activity to create a plateau. The rugged south of the island is a result of more recent volcanic activity. Cocos Island off the southern tip of Guam is the largest of the many small islets along the coastline. Politically, Guam is divided into 19 villages. The majority of the population lives on the coralline limestone plateaus of the north, with political and economic activity centered in the central and northern regions. The rugged geography of the south largely limits settlement to rural coastal areas. The western coast is leeward of the trade winds and is the location of Apra Harbor, the capitol Hagåtña, and the tourist center of Tumon. The U.S. Defense Department owns about 29% of the island, under the management of Joint Region Marianas.

The Guzman Water Catchment is a historic private water supply structure in the rural Nalao area of the village of Barrigada in the United States territory of Guam. It is a roughly rectangular structure, measuring 4.4 by 2.84 by 1.52 metres (14.4 ft × 9.3 ft × 5.0 ft), with an open top. It is fashioned out of locally gathered stone joined with lime-cement mortar. It was built in 1910 by Baldobino Charfauros on family-owned land, and is one of the oldest surviving rural catchment basins on the island. It is further distinguished from other catchment basins in that it has a substantial floor. These types of structures made it possible for Guamanian families to live on rural holdings where water access was otherwise a significant problem. The structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Tamuning, also known as Tamuning-Tumon-Harmon (Chamorro: Tamuneng) is a village located on the western shore of the United States territory of Guam. The village of Tamuning is the economic center of Guam, containing tourist center Tumon, Harmon Industrial Park, and other commercial districts. Its central location along Marine Corps Drive, the island's main thoroughfare, has aided in its development. Tamuning is the site of the access roads and the old passenger terminal of Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport, the passenger airport for Guam. Fort Juan Muña, in Harmon, is a facility for the Guam Army National Guard. The present and former locations of Guam Memorial Hospital, Guam's only civilian and government operated hospital, are in Tamuning. With Guam's only private birthing center also in the village, most modern civilian births on Guam take place in Tamuning.

The Agana Historic District in Hagåtña (formerly Agana), Guam is a 2-acre (0.81 ha) historic district that was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It includes five contributing buildings: the Calvo-Torres, Rosario, Martinez-Notley, Lujan and Leon Guerrero houses. The area is roughly bounded by 2nd S., 3rd S., and 9th W., Santa Cruz and Legaspi Sts. in Agana. The Calvo-Torres and Martinez-Notley houses are the oldest surviving private residences in Guam. The set of structures are Guam's oldest concrete buildings. And the set is the only surviving group of pre-World War II houses in Agana, "the only fragment left of old Agana's urban space." While a few scattered other individual structures survive, all else has been destroyed by World War II, termites, typhoons Karen of 1962 and Pamela of 1976, and other causes. They are also significant for tie to the Spanish colonial era and the use of ifil wood prior to Guam's deforestation.: 3  The Calvo-Torres House is the oldest, with its oldest part dating about 1800. It is approximately 16.6 by 17.6 metres (54 ft × 58 ft) in plan, has ifil framing, and is roofed by original Spanish tile plus later metal roofing. The oldest part, built of manposteria (coral mixed with lime mortar), once hosted a silversmith. A kitchen was added, and, in the 1920s, a concrete addition. The Rosario House is believed to have been built in the late 1800s. It is a 8.8 by 11.3 metres (29 ft × 37 ft) south-facing "one-and-a-half bodega type" structure.: 6  Part of the Martinez-Notley House was built in 1826. William H. Notley married into the Martinez family. The house is 20.9 by 15.5 metres (69 ft × 51 ft). It is described as having massing and overall character with "strong Spanish overtones"; it is largely surrounded by manposteria walls.: 6–7  The Leon Guerrero House is a 17.7-by-12-metre (58 ft × 39 ft) house started in 1939 but halted by rumors of war, then used as barracks by Japanese personnel during the war, with storage of rice in its lower level. It would have been destroyed after the war but its owner, Leon Guerrero, refused to vacate.: 7  The Lujan House is separately listed on the National Register as Guam Institute.: 7 

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School was a coeducational college preparatory Roman Catholic school located at 131 Judge Sablan Street in Ordot, Guam, a United States territory in the Western Pacific Ocean. The school opened in the Fall of 2008, and was the newest Catholic High School on Guam, under the Archdiocese of Agana. In 2015 the archdiocese decided that as the school did not have enough students, it should be closed.
