Siri Fort Auditorium

Gulmohar Park is a neighbourhood in South Delhi. This park lies between Hauz Khas and Gautam Nagar and is named after the red-flowered Gulmohar trees (Delonix regia) growing inside. The nearby residential colony is known as Gulmohar Park Journalists' Colony or simply Gulmohar Park for short, and was established by a group of journalists in the 1970s and is today home to business people, senior lawyers and cine star Amitabh Bachchan's Delhi residence.Gulmohar Park is surrounded by Balbir Saxena Marg and Hauz Khas to the south, Yusuf Sarai, Gulmohar enclave and Gautam Nagar to the west, Neeti Bagh to the north and August Kranti Marg and Siri Fort to the east. The colony covers 43 acres (170,000 m2) and has 13 parks inside. It is divided into four blocks (A, B, C and D) and also contains a DDA market and a residents' club (Gulmohar Club). Inside the colony is a police post, part of the Defence Colony Police Station.

The Green Park metro station is located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro below Aurobindo Marg.It serves Green Park Main, Yusuf Sarai Market and Green Park Extension. It is also a short walk from Aurobindo Place, located on the same road just south of the station. Places like Green Park Market, Gulmohar Park, Gautam Nagar have access from this metro station only. Restaurants like A2B, Evergreen and the famous National Institute of Fashion Technology can be reached by walk from this metro station

Kamala Nehru College is located at the August Kranti Marg, New Delhi. It was established in the year 1964 and is affiliated to University of Delhi. Shahpur Jat is an urban village in South Delhi, located near Hauz Khas and within one of the ancient capital cities of Delhi, Siri Fort.

Gargi College is one of the top colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi. It was established in the year 1967 and offers education in Arts and Humanities, Commerce, Science and Education for women. Gargi College has been honoured with Star College Status by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.

The Institute of Home Economics (IHE) is a girls' college of the University of Delhi.

Fr. Agnel School, is a private co-educational English medium school run by the Society of the Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar in New Delhi, India. It was established by Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues, an Agnel Ashram priest in 1979. The school is situated in Gautam Nagar, New Delhi.

The DDA Siri Fort Sport Complex is a sports stadium in New Delhi, India. It was built for the 1982 Asian Games, next to the Asian Games village by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), which also runs the facility now. Also close by is the Siri Fort Auditorium complex.

Hauz Khas is a neighborhood in South Delhi, its heart being the historic Hauz Khas Complex. Well known in medieval times, the Hauz Khas village has amazing buildings built around the reservoir. There are remnants of Islamic architecture roughly colored by splotches of urban culture. It is centrally located and offers both rural Hauz Khas Village and urban Hauz Khas Enclave, Market environments. Hauz Khas is surrounded by Green Park, SDA (Sri Aurobindo Marg) to the west, Gulmohar Park (Balbir Saxena Marg) towards the north, Sarvapriya Vihar (Outer Ring Road) towards the south and Asiad Village (August Kranti Marg) and Siri Fort to the east. Hauz Khas is also home to various diplomatic missions such as the ones of Albania, Iraq, Guinea Bissau, Burundi, and North Macedonia. Historically Hauz Khas was known as Hauz-e-Alai and is the place where Khusro Khan of Delhi Sultanate was defeated by Ghazi Malik (Governor of Dipalpur) in 1320. Hauz Khas is witnessing the growth of trendy shops and lodgings. It is now becoming the center for domestic and international tourists and backpackers. The area also is home to historical monuments and has easy access to the Delhi Metro, making it a preferred location for many visitors to India and domestic middle-class visitors from other Indian states. The area attracts young tourists with numerous hostels and cafes.

St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, is a parish under the Delhi Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.

The Hauz Khas metro station is an interchange station between the Yellow Line and the Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro. It serves Hauz Khas Enclave, Sarvapriya Vihar, Vijay Mandal Enclave, RBI colony, Mayfair Gardens and the IIT Delhi. The entrance to the station is located on Outer Ring Road, to the east of Aurobindo Marg and to the west of Khelgaon Marg. At 29 metres (95 ft) underground, Hauz Khas is the deepest station in Delhi Metro. It has 23 escalators and 9 lifts.

The Jagannath Temple in New Delhi, India is a modern temple built by the Odia community of Delhi dedicated to the Hindu God Jagannath. The temple located in Hauz Khas is famous for its annual Rathyatra festival attended by thousands of devotees.
