Mooneys Building is a heritage-listed warehouse at 130-132 Mary Street, Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Francis Drummond Greville Stanley and built in 1883 by James S Martin. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 22 June 1993.

Mary Street is a major road in the Brisbane central business district. The street is one of a number that were named after female queens and princesses of the royal family shortly after the penal colony was settled. Charlotte Street is positioned parallel to the north and Margaret Street runs next to the south. Mary Street begins in the Government Precinct at a T-intersection with George Street opposite the Executive Building. Also at the elevated southern end is Education House containing state government offices and the Department of Mines and Energy, Queensland are located opposite in the Queensland Minerals & Energy Centre. Felix Tower is located on the corner of Mary and Felix Streets. Waterfront Place and Forestry House are nearby in the lower northern section, close to the river. Vision Brisbane is a residential skyscraper under construction on Mary Street. It will be the tallest building in the city and state of Queensland. Mary Street was home to the first premises used by the Queensland Club, before moving to the corner of George Street and Alice Street.

Charlotte House is a heritage-listed warehouse at 139–145 Charlotte Street, Brisbane CBD, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by John Joseph Lough and built from 1888 to 1889 by James Baker. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Brisbane Skytower is a 270.5-metre (887 ft) skyscraper at 222 Margaret Street in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The 90-storey residential tower is Brisbane's tallest building, and the sixth tallest building in Australia.Brisbane Skytower is one of two buildings in the 111+222 development; the other being a 42-storey, five-star Westin hotel at 111 Mary Street which was sold in September 2015 to the Felicity Hotel Group and now known as Mary Lane.The residential tower includes 1,138 one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as sub-penthouse and penthouse apartments. A recreation deck, on the 89th floor, features Australia's highest infinity-edge swimming pool. An eight-level basement car park is included in the project, containing a total of 980 spaces.The project was developed by Billbergia and AMP Capital with US funds giant Invesco providing debt funding.

Vision Brisbane (or simply Vision) was a planned 283-metre (928 ft) skyscraper in Brisbane, Australia. The design was 72 storeys high, and would have become Brisbane's tallest, Queensland's second tallest, and Australia's third tallest building if completed. The design was scrapped and replaced by two new buildings, known by the name 111+222.Vision was planned to be a mixed-use tower with two levels of retail/entertainment space, 13 floors of commercial, 376 residential apartments over 53 floors and a two-storey observation deck on levels 60 and 61 at 205 metres (673 ft). Designed by the Buchan Group and developed by Austcorp, Vision's estimated value on completion was predicted to be A$900 million. Vision's Plaza was designed to provide a mid-block link between Mary Street and Margaret Street. A total of 7,390 square metres of lettable retail space was to be located within the main tower according to development application lodged with the city council. The public plaza was to include water features and several commissioned works of art. The 376 apartments within the residential component were planned to consist of 96 four-bedroom, 108 three-bedroom, 52 two-bedroom and 120 single-bedroom units. The commercial space totaled 37,431 square metres, comprising the first 13 levels of the main tower and the associated commercial wing extending towards Mary Street.

The one-directional road begins at a T-intersection where Creek Street becomes Eagle Street, close to the Brisbane River. Charlotte Street ends at another T-intersection with George Street. Here lies the 111 George Street tower containing mostly government offices. Charlotte Towers and Festival Towers are two tall residential buildings in Charlotte Street. The Elizabeth Arcade, St Stephens Cathedral, Comalco Place and The Pancake Manor are some of the other notable buildings located on Charlotte Street. A number of multi-storey car parks have been built on the road. A police station once located on the Queen Street Mall was transferred to Charlotte Street. The iconic Victory Hotel, also on Charlotte Street, closed on 27 July 2008 after a fire destroyed the premises. It has since re-opened in its original form.

Albert Street railway station is a railway station currently under construction as part of the Cross River Rail project in the Brisbane central business district, Queensland, Australia. To be built as an underground station directly beneath Albert Street, it will consist of two platforms. Construction commenced in October 2019, with it scheduled to open in 2024. The platforms are built at a depth of 31 metres.The station will provide access to the mixed-use residential, employment and retail precinct adjoining the City Botanic Gardens, the financial district, Queen’s Wharf, the government precinct and Queensland University of Technology at Gardens Point. The precinct is expected to attract more than 67,000 commuters each weekday in 2036.The station has two entrances. The main entrance lies to the south, while the second entrance is located to the north.

The Victory Hotel is a historic pub located on the corner of Edward and Charlotte Streets in the Brisbane central business district, Queensland, Australia. It is listed on the Brisbane Heritage Register.The hotel site totals 924 square metres and consists of two levels, incorporating six bars throughout the venue, lounge, deck, pool room, beer garden and gaming room.

Metro Arts Theatre is a heritage-listed building, originally a warehouse and then a theatre complex, at 109-117 Edward Street, Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1890. It has also been known as Community Arts Centre, Coronation House, and Metro Arts Centre. Theatres within the building have included the Edward Street Theatre, also known as New Edward Street Theatre (as part of the Community Arts Centre in the 1980s), while the Sue Benner Theatre, the Basement and the Studio came later. Metro Arts moved out of the building in late 2020. The building was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Youngs Building is a heritage-listed warehouse at 93–103 Edward Street (corner of Mary Street), Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1910 and repaired in 1912. It is also known as Optical Products. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 22 February 1995.

169 Mary Street is a heritage-listed warehouse at 169 Mary Street (corner of Edward Street), Brisbane CBD, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Richard Gailey and built from 1887 to 1888 by T Game. It is also known as Coal Board Building. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

123 Albert Street is a commercial office development in Brisbane, Australia. The modern style office building is located in the Brisbane central business district at 123 Albert Street. The building was completed in July 2011 and opened in October 2011. The Premium grade office tower was designed by Hassell and is owned by Dexus. The tower consists of 26 levels of office space and eight levels of car parking (five above ground) which provide 388 car park spaces. The building has a two design ratings: a 6 Green Star rating and a 5 Star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating which are pending assessment. On 25 August 2010 a worker was injured during the construction of the tower.The building was the first in Brisbane to employ a commercial concierge.
