Chevilly-Larue station is an underground station on Line 14 of the Paris Métro. It is part of the Grand Paris Express project. The station is located in the town of Chevilly-Larue, near the Rungis International Market (Marché International). The station is located beneath Avenue de la Cité and Rue de Thiais with entrances on both sides and offers connections to Île-de-France tramway Line 7, the Trans-Val-de-Marne (Tvm) bus rapid transit line, and local bus routes. It opened on 24 June 2024 as part of the southern extension of Line 14 from Olympiades to Aéroport d'Orly.

Pont de Rungis–Aéroport d'Orly is an RER station in Thiais, in the départment of Val-de-Marne. The station is served by RER C trains, some of which terminate at the station. The station is connected to both terminals of Paris-Orly Airport by the ADP (Aéroport de Paris) shuttle bus service. It is proposed that the Paris Métro Line 14 be extended towards the Orly Airport, and the Line 14 will have a stop at Pont de Rungis. The extension is foreseen to open around 2024.

Thiais (French pronunciation: [tjɛ] (listen)) is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 10.3 km (6.4 mi) from the center of Paris.The name Thiais comes from Medieval Latin Theodasium or Theodaxium, meaning "estate of Theodasius", a Gallo-Roman landowner. The Austrian writer Joseph Roth, exiled due to his opposition to the Nazi regime, lived at Thiais at the end of the 1930s and is buried at the local cemetery. The tomb of Russian writer Yevgeny Zamyatin is also there. Expatriate American journalist and novelist William Gardner Smith died there in 1974.

The Rungis International Market (French: Marché International de Rungis) is the principal market of Paris, mainly for food and horticultural products, located in the commune of Rungis, in the southern suburbs. It is the second largest wholesale food market in the world. The first one is La Central de Abastos, located in Mexico city, with 327 ha. From its origins in the 10th century to the mid-20th century, the central market of Paris was located in the centre of the city, in a 10-hectare area named Les Halles. That became too small to accommodate all of the business demand, and, in 1969, the market was transferred to the suburbs. Rungis was selected because of its easy access by rail and highway and its proximity to Orly International Airport. The market is the property of the French State and administered by the Semmaris (Société d'Economie Mixte d'Aménagement et de gestion du marché d'intérêt national de Rungis). Wholesalers are plentiful and the competition is strong. The market starts at 1am and ends around 11am. Clients are professionals, distributors and restaurants. Veterinary, phytosanitary controls and property checkouts are omnipresent. The waste of the market is recycled and the energy generated by the incinerator is used to heat the market and Orly Airport nearby. Data: the complex covers 232 hectares (570 acres) and is slightly larger than the Principality of Monaco; 13,000 people work there every day; 26,000 vehicles enter every day (of which 3,000 are heavy trucks); 1,698,000 tonnes of products are brought in annually; it has the largest turnover of wholesale markets in the world.

Chevilly-Larue (French pronunciation: [ʃəviji laʁy] (listen)) is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 9.3 km (5.8 mi) from the center of Paris.

The Battle of Chevilly was fought during the siege of Paris. The battle was the second French sortie from Paris against the German armies. On 30 September 1870 General Joseph Vinoy attacked the Prussian VI Corps at Chevilly and was easily repulsed. The Prussian VI Corps commanded by General Von Trumpling repulsed an attempt by the French army from Paris led by General Joseph Vinoy; The French army in the battle suffered greater losses than the Prussian army.General Vinoy - who commanded a corps includes all regular forces finally of France during the war , has conducted an "attack reconnaissance" nonsense on the left bank of the Seine on September 30, 1870: with Twenty thousand men, under the cannons of the fortresses of Bicêtre and Ivry, he proceeded to raid the villages of L'Hay, Chevilly and Thiaïs. The Prussian VI Corps had no difficulty crushing and forcing Vinoy's forces to flee in chaos. Due to large losses, the French requested a ceasefire for burialmartyrs and sending wounded soldiers to the rear.Two weeks after the defeat at the Battle of Chevilly, Vinoy launched another siege on October 13, 1870 in the Battle of Châtillon, which also ended with the defeat of the French.

L'Haÿ-les-Roses station is underground station on Line 14 of the Paris Métro. It is part of the Grand Paris Express project. The station is located in the commune of L'Haÿ-les-Roses at the intersection of Rue de Bicêtre, Rue de Lallier and Rue Paul Hochart. The station opened on 24 June 2024 as part of the extension of Line 14 from Olympiades to Aéroport d'Orly.

Villejuif–Louis Aragon (French pronunciation: ​[vilʒɥif lwi aʁaɡɔ̃]) is a station of the Paris Métro, located in the commune of Villejuif. The station opened on 28 February 1985 when Line 7 was extended from Le Kremlin-Bicêtre and serves the commune of Villejuif as the southwestern terminus of one of Paris Métro Line 7's branches (the terminus on the other branch is Mairie d'Ivry). The station is named after the Avenue Louis Aragon and Louis Aragon (1897–1982), a French writer. Early plans to extend line 14 from Olympiades to the Orly Airport included the possibility of taking over the existing line 7 branch from Maison Blanche to this station. However, the inclusion of line 14 in the Grand Paris Express project means that the line 14 extension to Orly will only consist of new infrastructure and the plan has been shelved. Line 15 (another Grand Paris Express line) will serve this station from late 2025 onwards (as of August 2021), one year later than originally intended in 2024, with construction having started in 2017. In 2020, the station was used by 4,029,467 passengers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, making it the 28th busiest of the Métro network, out of 305 stations.

Orly (French pronunciation: [ɔʁli] (listen)) is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, Île-de-France. It is located 12.7 km (7.9 mi) from the center of Paris. The name of Orly came from Latin Aureliacum, "the villa of Aurelius". Orly Airport partially lies on the territory of the commune of Orly, which gave its name to the airport.
