Cornellà del Terri (Catalan pronunciation: [kuɾnəˈʎa ðəl ˈtɛri]) is a village in the province of Girona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 27.8 square kilometres (10.7 sq mi) and the population in 2014 was 2,235.

Porqueres (Catalan pronunciation: [puɾˈkeɾəs]) is a municipality located in the county of Pla de l'Estany, in the province of Girona, in the autonomous region of Catalunya of Spain. The municipality is made up of several villages. Mata, Les Pedreres and Miànigues, have the largest part of the population. At the top of the mountain range of Serra de Sant Patllari is the village of Pujarnol. In the west is Porqueres, and on the northern part of the Lake of Banyoles is Usall. Amid the green forests of the Ginestar mountains is the village of Merlant.

Medinyà is a town in the comarca of Gironès in Catalonia. Between June 2015 and January 2018 it was an independent municipality, but has now reverted to forming part of the municipality of Sant Julià de Ramis. The town is located at the junction of the N-II and the GI-514 roads. In 2014 it consisted of 852 residents. A highlight of the town is Medinyà Castle.

Factoria d’Arts Escèniques is a cultural building focused in teaching, producing and playing performing arts. It is located in Baldiri Reixach, 403 de Banyoles, Pla de l'Estany. The building received the official visit of the Minister of Culture, González-Sinde in October 2010 and inaugurated its first play the 27 March 2011 but it wasn't officially opened since 20 April 2011.

Pla de l'Estany (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈpla ðə ləsˈtaɲ]) is a comarca (county) in the Girona region in Catalonia, Spain. Its name means "plain of the lake", the lake in question being the Lake of Banyoles. Banyoles is also the name of the capital of the comarca and home to over half of its people. Pla de l'Estany was established as a separate comarca in 1988 on the basis of a referendum; prior to that it had constituted the northwest part of the comarca of Gironès. The comarca borders the comarques of Garrotxa, Alt Empordà, and Gironès. Pla de l'Estany is largely agricultural, but has also long had industries in textiles, furniture, leather, iron, and copper.

Sant Esteve de Banyoles is a Benedictine monastery in Banyoles, Pla de l'Estany, Catalonia, Spain. It was declared as a Bé Cultural d'Interès Nacional landmark in 1973. The monastery was founded before 812.

Sant Julià de Ramis is a village in the province of Girona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 18.76 square kilometres (7.24 sq mi).In 1972 the neighbouring municipality of Medinyà was annexed by Sant Julià de Ramis, but it regained its municipal independence in June 2015. At the end of January 2018 it reverted to its 1972–2015 status following a court judgement that it had insufficient population.

Celrà is a village in the province of Girona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 19.53 km2 (7.54 sq mi) and the population in 2014 was 5,053.

Banyoles (Catalan pronunciation: [bəˈɲɔləs]) is a city of 20,168 inhabitants (2021) located in the province of Girona in northeastern Catalonia, Spain. The town is the capital of the Catalan comarca "Pla de l'Estany". Although an established industrial centre many of the inhabitants commute to the nearby city of Girona (12 km to the south). Banyoles was connected to Girona by the 750 mm (2 ft 5+1⁄2 in) gauge Palamós–Girona–Banyoles railway, which reached it by 1928. Service on the line continued until 1956.

Camós (Catalan pronunciation: [kəˈmos]) is a village in the province of Girona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 15.7 square kilometres (6.1 sq mi) and the population in 2014 was 686.
