Dr. Percy L. Julian High School (formerly Robert E. Lee High School) is a public secondary school in Montgomery, Alabama, United States, serving grades 9–12. The school is part of the Montgomery Public Schools system. Dr. Percy L. Julian High School is zoned for the northside of Montgomery, including residents of the Gunter Air Force Base and Maxwell Air Force Base, however, few military students attend Montgomery public schools.

The Central Alabama VA Medical Center–Montgomery is a medical facility of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in Montgomery, Alabama. The hospital was built in 1940 and originally consisted of 138 acres (56 ha), but has been reduced to approximately 50 acres (20 ha). The main building is a four-story H-shape building with elements of Colonial Revival and Classical Revival styles. Other historic buildings on the campus include the dining hall, residences for attendants and nurses, and engineering & maintenance buildings. The hospital was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Montgomery is the capital city of the U.S. state of Alabama and the county seat of Montgomery County. Named for Continental Army Major General Richard Montgomery, it stands beside the Alabama River, on the coastal Plain of the Gulf of Mexico. In the 2020 census, Montgomery's population was 200,603. It is now the third most populous city in the state, after Mobile and Huntsville, and is the 119th most populous in the United States. In February 1861, Montgomery was chosen the first capital of the Confederate States of America, which it remained until the Confederate seat of government moved to Richmond, Virginia, in May of that year. Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex is a baseball venue in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. It is home to the Alabama State Hornets baseball team of the NCAA Division I Southwestern Athletic Conference. The venue is named for two former Alabama State baseball coaches, Herbert Wheeler and Larry Watkins. Opened in March 2011, the facility has a capacity of 500 spectators.

ASU Stadium is an American football stadium in Montgomery, Alabama, on the campus of Alabama State University that serves as the home field for the Alabama State Hornets football team. The stadium opened in 2012 and replaced the Cramton Bowl as the home of ASU football. ASU Stadium's inaugural game was played November 22, 2012, when it hosted the 89th Turkey Day Classic in which the Hornets hosted the Tuskegee Golden Tigers. The game, won by Tuskegee 27–25, was a sell-out and was televised nationally on ESPNU. The stadium's current capacity sits at 26,500 but the facility is designed to allow for future expansion that can increase the capacity to 55,000.
