Mississauga Secondary School (MSS) is a public high school located in Mississauga, Ontario. It operates under the Peel District School Board.

Britannia landfill, now BraeBen Golf Course, and previously Britannia Hills Golf Course, was a garbage dump located in the city of Mississauga and later transformed into a golf course. The site is located on Terry Fox Way south of Britannia Road West. Opened in 1980 by Peel Region, the 200-acre (0.81 km2) site took garbage from Peel and Metro Toronto. It closed in 2002 and was used to create a 27-hole golf course. The City of Mississauga has a 99-year lease on the facility. Gases from the dump are to be used to generate electricity. Mississauga—Streetsville is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2004. This riding is centred on the villages of Streetsville and Meadowvale. Mississauga—Streetsville is one of the most affluent ridings in Ontario, along with Mississauga—Erin Mills and Mississauga—Lakeshore.

Courtneypark Library is a library branch under the Mississauga Library System located in Meadowvalle Village. The library was established in late 2004 to respond to the needs of the large and growing Courtneypark community of 75,000 residents. The Courtneypark Library serves as both a community library with resources and programs geared to the everyday requirements of all ages of users, and a school library for St. Marcellinus Secondary School. This library is a shared facility between the City of Mississauga and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.The building is also an Active Living Centre including amenities such as a triple gymnasium, a multi-purpose room, and a dance studio. Recreation & Parks programming at the facility includes yoga, pilates, karate, volleyball, badminton, basketball, tennis, soccer, track and field, and more.

St. Marcellinus Secondary School (commonly referred to as Marcies) is a Catholic high school located in Mississauga, Ontario. The founding principal of St. Marcellinus, John McAllister, was succeeded by Thomas Wisnicki, Frank Furgiuele, and (most recently) Annibale Iarossi.

CKNT (960 AM) is a commercial radio station branded as Sauga 960 AM. It is owned by 8159203 Canada, Limited, headed by Elliott Kerr. CKNT has a News/Talk radio format and is licensed to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, serving Greater Toronto. The radio studios and offices are on Westmore Drive in Etobicoke. By day, CKNT is powered at 1,250 watts. But to avoid interference to other stations on 960 AM, it reduces power to 175 watts at night. It uses a non-directional antenna. The transmitter is on Courtneypark Drive East, near Kennedy Road South in Mississauga.

Toronto Township is a former municipality now mostly part of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, with its northern extremity now a part of Brampton. It is directly west of but not part of the city of Toronto, and its land area makes up the majority of present-day Mississauga.

St. Joseph Secondary School, colloquially known as St. Joe's is a Catholic high school located in the Streetsville community of Mississauga, Ontario. The school is administered by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. St. Joseph Secondary School is one of few schools in the province of Ontario to offer Pre-Advanced Placement courses starting in grade 9 while most schools offer the option of Advanced Placement (AP) level classes in grade 12. Students who graduate in any course with an AP level exam completed will earn university level credits in said course. The school is also a provider of the Business and Transportation Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSM), granting students who complete the major with a Ontario Secondary School Diploma including a recognized seal for employment opportunities after graduation.Like other members of the district, students who attend St. Joseph C.S.S. receive teaching on religion, family life and prayer in addition to the standard curriculum found in public schools. The school is linked with the St. Joseph's Parish in Streetsville, which is a part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto. Its scriptural motto is "Be Not Afraid... Come Follow Me". Some extra-curricular programs include: Model United Nation (MUN), Future Business Leaders Association (FBLA), The Mirror (school newspaper), Culture Shock, Green Team, L.I.F.E. Ministry, SafeSpace, Yearbook Committee, Annual Christmas talent Show, Artsapalooza, Artsfest, School Musical, Peer Tutoring, Jazz and Marching Band and the Nicaragua Project. Also, the school LINK Crew Ambassadors are a successful widespread organization, and assist with tours and parent evenings. The school is built almost exactly like Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School also in Mississauga. The school was attended by Trooper Marc Diab, who was killed by a roadside bomb while serving his country in the War in Afghanistan. The park behind the school was renamed Trooper Marc Diab Memorial Park, in his honour.In June 2013, St. Joe's was awarded the 2012–13 Premier's Award for Accepting Schools on behalf of Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne. The Premier's Awards for Accepting Schools are awarded annually and recognize schools that have demonstrated initiative, creativity and leadership in promoting a safe, inclusive and accepting school climate. Rick Hansen Secondary School (RHSS) is a public high school located in the southeast corner of Streetsville, a community in Mississauga, Ontario. Rick Hansen is home to graduates from Fallingbrook Middle School, Fairwind Senior Public School, and Hazel McCallion Senior Public School. The school opened in 1999, and in 2002, the school expanded with a new wing on the west side of the school, which added 14 classrooms, 2 dance studios, and 2 art rooms. Nearly 2,000 students attend this school. The school is a sister school to Rick Hansen Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia and their mascot's name is stormy

St. Francis Xavier Secondary School is a Catholic high school in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, overseen by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. As of October 29, 2021, it has 1,840 students,about 130 teaching and support staff, and a childcare centre. The school mascot is the Tiger. The school has an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program and Specialist High Skills Major programs for Health & wellness, Hospitality & Tourism, and Transportation.The school is located in St. Francis Xavier Parish in the Archdiocese of Toronto. The school catchment includes graduates of St. Hilary, St. Matthew, St. Jude, San Lorenzo Ruiz Elementary schools, St. Valentine students living east of Mavis Rd. and is the most common high school for graduates of Fairwind Senior Public School and Bristol Road Middle School, even though they are in the Peel District School Board.

Meadowvale is a large suburban district located in the northwestern part of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, just west of Toronto. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, Meadowvale Village in Toronto Township was established nearby and named for the meadows along the Credit River. By the 1970s the village would diminish with the current area to the west selected to be the site of a "new town" for the newly (1974) incorporated City of Mississauga and took the Meadowvale name, while "Village" was added to the historic community. This newer section comprises the bulk of the district today, and includes Lisgar, another former hamlet of which no trace remains today.
