Urús is a village in the province of Girona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain.

Alp is a town and municipality in the comarca of Cerdanya, Province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. Its population is 1,745 according to the 2012 census.Alp is home to the ski resort of La Molina.

La Cerdanya Aerodrome (Catalan: Aeròdrom de la Cerdanya) is an airfield located in the Catalan town of Alp, in the Cerdanya county. It was founded in 1971 with the establishment of the now-disappeared Aero Club de la Cerdanya. The Aerdrome grew because of the gliding activity of the Centre de Vol a Vela La Cerdanya, which later became a section of the Aero Club Barcelona-Sabadell. Integrated into the Catalan Government's new airports plan, the airfield management, which belongs to Aeroports de Catalunya and the Cerdanya County Council, was put up for public tender in 2008, which was won by Gestió Aeronàutica Ceretana, S.L. consortium, composed by Aero Club Barcelona-Sabadell, CAT Helicòpters, Masella, and La Molina.

Masella, belonging to Alp's municipality, is a ski resort in La Cerdanya in Girona, Catalunya in the Spanish Pyrenees. It is situated on Tosa d'Alp mountain. This ski resort is part of the Alp 2500 resort.

Tosa d'Alp or La Tosa is a 2,587-metre-high (8,488 ft) mountain in Baixa Cerdanya in the Spanish Pyrenees. The Coll de Pal is a mountain pass that separates its eastern part from the Puigllançada. This mountain forms a quadripoint where the Alp, Urús, Das and Bagà municipal limits meet. There is a triangulation station (282081001) at the summit. Part of its slopes are home to the ski resort of Masella which is part of Alp 2500.

Alp 2500 is a ski resort in La Cerdanya, Catalonia, in the Pyrenees mountains of northeastern Spain. It includes the two towns of La Molina and Masella, whose two respective ski areas united to form this resort. The nearest main town is Alp. The resort of Masella serves the mountain of La Tosa. Alp 2500 has over 130 km (80 mi.) of slopes, and its Hotel Alp is only 50 meters (165 ft.) from the slopes. La Molina hosted World Cup alpine events in December 2008 (women's technical events) and the FIS Snowboarding World Championships in January 2011.

Baltarga (or Valltarga) is a village in the municipality of Bellver de Cerdanya located at 1,080 metres (3,540 ft) above sea level on the southern slope of a ridge of the same name, the Serrat de Baltarga. As of 2009 it had a population of 56.In the early history of Catalonia, Baltarga was the site of two important battles. Sometime between 939 and 943, Ermengol, the eldest son of Sunyer, Count of Barcelona, "died in battle at Baltarga, childless" (apud Baltargam bello interfectus sine filio). It has been proposed that this battle was fought against raiding Hungarians in 942. Then, in 1035, Count Berenguer Ramon I of Barcelona "died in battle at Baltarga in Cerdanya" (obiit in bello apud Baltargam locum Ceritaniae). The source for both battles is the 12th-century Gesta comitum Barchinonensium.

The Serra de Moixeró is a mountain range running across the north of Catalonia (Spain), part of the Pre-Pyrenees. Along with the adjacent Serra del Cadí, Pedraforca and parts of Tosa d'Alp and Puigllançada, it forms part of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, established in 1983.The Serra de Moixeró is often confused as a part of the Serra del Cadí, despite the fact that these two ranges are separated by the Tancalaporta pass. The confusion is widespread enough that Cadí Tunnel, which connects Cerdanya with the rest of Catalonia beneath the Serra de Moixeró, was erroneously named for the adjacent range.

Cadí Tunnel (Catalan and Spanish: Túnel del Cadí) is a toll road tunnel in Catalonia, Spain, connecting the comarques of Cerdanya and Berguedà. The tunnel, with a length of 5,026 m (16,490 ft), is part of the C-16 highway and E-9, running under the Serra de Moixeró mountain range in the Pre-Pyrenees.It comprises two lanes, separated by a 2-meter-wide (6.6 ft) safety zone in the middle. The southern entrance, at an altitude of 1,175 m (3,855 ft), is located in the settlement of l'Hospitalet, part of the municipality of Guardiola de Berguedà. The northern entrance is in Cerdanya, in the municipality of Urús, and is at a height of 1,236 m (4,055 ft).
