Nauener Platz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the line. The square that gives it its name is named after the city of Nauen. It was opened in 1976 by Rümmler. The colors of the station are a reference to the French tricolore as the part of Berlin where the station is, was a part of the French sector.

St. Joseph is a Catholic church and former parish in Berlin-Wedding, Germany, built from 1907 to 1909 to a design by Wilhelm Rincklake, revised by Wilhelm Frydag in Romanesque revival style. It seats 3000 people. Since 2018 the church has served as an interim cathedral while the St.-Hedwigs-Kathedrale is restored.

The two-level station opened on 30 April 1976 (U9) and 5 October 1977 (U8). Since 1995 it has also been served by the M13 line and line 50 of the Berlin Straßenbahn. The architect was R. G. Rümmler. The station have had also a direct connection to Tegel Airport with the bus 128.

Schering AG was a research-centered German multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Wedding, Berlin, which operated as an independent company from 1851 to 2006. In 2006, it was bought by Bayer AG and merged to form the Bayer subsidiary Bayer Schering Pharma AG, which was renamed Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals in 2011. Schering was listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and had 26,000 employees as of 2004. The American pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough, formerly the Schering Corporation, was originally the US subsidiary of Schering AG, and merged with Merck & Co. in 2009.

The Panke is a small river in Brandenburg and Berlin, a right tributary of the Spree, originating from the Barnim plateau. It has a length of 29 km, of which 20,2 are within the area of Berlin. Consequently, the Panke is the third longest river in the city after the Spree and the Havel. Several areas in Berlin and Brandenburg are named after the Panke, including Pankow and Panketal.

The Berlin-Spandau Ship Canal, or Berlin-Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal in German, is a canal in Berlin, Germany. It was built between 1848 and 1859 to a plan created by Peter Joseph Lenné, and was formerly known as the Hohenzollern Canal or Hohenzollernkanal. The 12.2-kilometre (7.6 mi) long canal links the River Havel north of Spandau to the River Spree near the Hauptbahnhof in Berlin. Because it joins the River Havel upstream of the river lock at Spandau, it provides a more direct route from the River Spree to the Oder–Havel Canal.The Westhafen, Berlin's largest port with an area of 173,000 m² (42.75 acres), lies on the Berlin-Spandau Ship Canal some 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from its eastern (River Spree) end. The Westhafen Canal and Charlottenburg Canal also connect the port to the River Spree further downstream in Charlottenburg.On August 26, 2013, author Wolfgang Herrndorf committed suicide by gunshot to the head on the banks of the canal following a long illness.

Franz-Neumann-Platz (Am Schäfersee) is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the . Opened in 1987 and built by R. G. Rümmler, the station was originally supposed to be named Schäfersee. However, politicians convinced the BVG to use the name of a famous SPD chairman.
