Kamienna Góra

The Battle of Landeshut was an engagement fought on 23 June 1760 during the Third Silesian War (part of the Seven Years' War). A Prussian army of 12,000 men under General Heinrich August de la Motte Fouqué fought an Austrian army of over 28,000 men under Ernst Gideon von Laudon and suffered a defeat, with its commander wounded and taken prisoner. The Prussians lost 10,242 men including 1,927 killed along with 8,315 prisoners as well as 68 guns captured. The Austrians lost 774 killed and 2,195 wounded. The Prussians fought with resolution, surrendering after running out of ammunition.

Zadrna (German: Zieder) is a river in Lower Silesian Voivodeship in southwestern Poland, a right tributary of the Bóbr. It rises in the Góry Krucze range of the Central Sudetes near the village of Błażejów, close to the border with the Czech Republic.

Kamienna Góra County (Polish: powiat kamiennogórski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. The county covers an area of 396.1 square kilometres (152.9 sq mi). Its administrative seat is the town of Kamienna Góra; the only other town in the county is Lubawka. As of 2019 the total population of the county is 43,429, out of which the population of Kamienna Góra is 19,010, the population of Lubawka is 6,028 and the rural population is 18,391.

Its seat is the town of Kamienna Góra, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of 158.1 square kilometres (61.0 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 9,019.

Błażkowa [bwaʂˈkɔva] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubawka, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north of Lubawka, 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Kamienna Góra, and 86 kilometres (53 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
