Janiszów [jaˈniʂuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kamienna Góra, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It lies approximately 8 km (5 mi) south-west of Kamienna Góra, and 84 km (52 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Gmina Lubawka is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Lubawka, which lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) south of Kamienna Góra, and 87 kilometres (54 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. The gmina covers an area of 138.08 square kilometres (53.3 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 10,901.

Lubawka [luˈbafka] (German: Liebau) is a town in Poland, in Lower Silesia Voivodship, in Kamienna Góra County. It is the administrative seat of Gmina Lubawka. It lies in the Sudetes near to the border with the Czech Republic on the way across the Lubawka pass (516m) between the Karkonosze and Krucze Mountains (Czech: Vraní hory). Two small rivers, the Bóbr and Czarnuszka, run through the town, which has 6,028 inhabitants (2019).

Miszkowice [miʂkɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Michelsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubawka, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 3 km (2 mi) west of Lubawka, 15 km (9 mi) south-west of Kamienna Góra, and 89 km (55 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. It is situated on the Złotna River, a tributary of Bóbr.

Bukówka Lake is a retention reservoir located in the drainage basin of the River Bóbr, in the Gmina Lubawka, Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship; in Poland.

Pisarzowice [pisaʐɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kamienna Góra, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. In 1945, demobilized Polish lieutenant Czesław Słania settled in Pisarzowice, however, he soon left for Kraków, and eventually became one of the world's most skilled and prolific stamp engravers. An agricultural cooperative was founded in Pisarzowice in 1951.

The Battle of Landeshut was an engagement fought on 23 June 1760 during the Third Silesian War (part of the Seven Years' War). A Prussian army of 12,000 men under General Heinrich August de la Motte Fouqué fought an Austrian army of over 28,000 men under Ernst Gideon von Laudon and suffered a defeat, with its commander wounded and taken prisoner. The Prussians lost 10,242 men including 1,927 killed along with 8,315 prisoners as well as 68 guns captured. The Austrians lost 774 killed and 2,195 wounded. The Prussians fought with resolution, surrendering after running out of ammunition.

Kamienna Góra [kaˈmʲɛnːa ˈɡura] (German: Landeshut, Czech: Lanžhot or Kamenná Hora) is a town in south-western Poland with 18,235 inhabitants (2023). It is the seat of Kamienna Góra County, and also of the rural district called Gmina Kamienna Góra, although it is not part of the territory of the latter (the town forms a separate urban gmina). Kamienna Góra on the Bóbr river is situated in Lower Silesian Voivodeship between the Stone Mountains and the Rudawy Janowickie at the old trade route from Silesia to Prague, today part of the National Road No. 5. It lies approximately 95 kilometres (59 miles) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Szczepanów [ʂt͡ʂɛˈpanuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubawka, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, near the border with the Czech Republic.
