Viking is an unincorporated community in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. Viking is located along U.S. Route 1, 7 miles (11 km) north-northwest of Fort Pierce. The town was founded by a Norwegian immigrants Jens (1858-1944) and Agathe Helseth and was so named for a large community of Scandinavians. At one time, there was a school and a post office in addition to the Helseth pineapple farm. The Helseth estate was donated to the State of Florida.

The transmitter is on Old Dixie Highway in Lakewood Park, Florida, near U.S. Route 1.

The Spanish River is a former fresh-water stream which once flowed through Boca Raton, Florida. It was originally known as "Boca Raton's Lagoon" but settlers renamed it the "Old Spanish River." It has been channeled into the Intracoastal Waterway. People joke that "no one in town can find it" but in fact the stream bed is still visible in Spanish River Park. There are several establishments in the area that bear the name of the once-flowing river, including a high school, a church, and a library.

North Hutchinson Island is a coastal barrier island in Indian River and St. Lucie counties on the east coast of Florida in the United States. Treasure Coast International Airport (IATA: FPR, ICAO: KFPR, FAA LID: FPR) is a public airport located three miles (5 km) northwest of the central business district of Fort Pierce, a city in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. It is owned by the St. Lucie Board of County Commissioners.The airport sees frequent use by various aviation flight schools in south Florida, including three based at the airport, for general aviation flight training traffic. The airport also hosts a Federal Inspection Station (FIS) administered by United States Customs & Border Protection, which makes it a frequent stop for private aircraft coming in and out of the Bahama Islands. DayJet provided an on-demand jet air taxi service from this airport before suspending operation in September 2008.

The St. Lucie Village Historic District is a historic district located in St. Lucie Village, Florida. The district runs from 2505 through 3305 North Indian River Drive. Out of the 50 structures lining the Indian River Drive, 35 are of historical interest with the contributing structures ranging from Frame Vernacular to Late Victorian architecture. On December 1, 1989, the historic district was added to the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural and historical significance.
