Lakewood Park is a Census-designated place in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. The population was 11,323 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Port St. Lucie Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The transmitter is on Old Dixie Highway in Lakewood Park, Florida, near U.S. Route 1.

Viking is an unincorporated community in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. Viking is located along U.S. Route 1, 7 miles (11 km) north-northwest of Fort Pierce. The town was founded by a Norwegian immigrants Jens (1858-1944) and Agathe Helseth and was so named for a large community of Scandinavians. At one time, there was a school and a post office in addition to the Helseth pineapple farm. The Helseth estate was donated to the State of Florida.

Treasure Coast International Airport (IATA: FPR, ICAO: KFPR, FAA LID: FPR) is a public airport located three miles (5 km) northwest of the central business district of Fort Pierce, a city in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. It is owned by the St. Lucie Board of County Commissioners.The airport sees frequent use by various aviation flight schools in south Florida, including three based at the airport, for general aviation flight training traffic. The airport also hosts a Federal Inspection Station (FIS) administered by United States Customs & Border Protection, which makes it a frequent stop for private aircraft coming in and out of the Bahama Islands. DayJet provided an on-demand jet air taxi service from this airport before suspending operation in September 2008.

First settled circa 1883, Oslo is an unincorporated community in southeastern Indian River County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Sebastian–Vero Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town of Oslo, as it was once called, was first established by some of Indian River County's first pioneers, which included the Helseth, Gifford, and Hallstrom families. The area was given the name Oslo by the Helseth family.

Immokolee (also known as the Dorothy Binney Palmer House) is a historic home in Fort Pierce, Florida. It is located at 8431 Immokolee Road. On July 29, 1994, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The name "Immokolee" derives from a Seminole dialect word meaning "our home" or "my home place."The Mission Revival house was constructed in 1931 by local builder Franklind Tyler from a design provided by owner Dorothy Binney Palmer. The house was restored after Palmer's death in 1985.

The Town of St. Lucie Village is a town in St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. The population was 590 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Port St. Lucie Metropolitan Statistical Area. St. Lucie Village was incorporated in 1961 and includes the St. Lucie Village Historic District.

Built in 1926, the Casa Caprona (also known as the Markert Apartments) is a historic building in Fort Pierce, Florida, USA. It is located at 2605 St. Lucie Boulevard. The complex was designed in the Mediterranean Revival style by architects Arthur Beck and J.K. Shinn, and was built by T.H. Markenthaler and T.H. Kertshner. For a period of time the complex housed people training in the Navy's underwater demolition group during WWII. The complex was envisioned as the centerpiece for the proposed winter community of San Lucie Plaza. However, due to the collapse of the Florida land boom, the project failed.After a collaborative effort from the Casa Carpona condominium association the property was named a landmark in 1984. On June 2, 1984, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

North Hutchinson Island is a coastal barrier island in Indian River and St. Lucie counties on the east coast of Florida in the United States. The island is adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean and is separated from the mainland on the west by the Indian River Lagoon. The portion of the island in Indian River County is known as Orchid Island.
