Grand (or Grand/Milwaukee in station announcements) is an 'L' station on the CTA's Blue Line, at Grand Avenue, Halsted Street and Milwaukee Avenue in the southeast corner of the West Town neighborhood. It is also located within the Fulton River District.

Wrigley Lodge is a building at 509 N. Union, Chicago, Illinois. Owned by the Salvation Army since 1931, it most recently housed a Salvation Army Thrift Store and adult rehabilitation center.

Bally's Chicago is a proposed casino resort that will be built in Chicago, Illinois, the United States. In May 2022, Mayor Lori Lightfoot approved Bally's Corporation's bid to construct a casino complex in the city. The complex will be located in the city's River West neighborhood on the bank of the Chicago River. The proposal still has to go through the city council and gaming board approval in order for construction to begin.

Freedom Center, also known as the Chicago Tribune Publishing Center is the printing plant and headquarters for the Chicago Tribune, as well as the printing facility for other publications such as the Chicago-Sun Times.

The River District was a proposed 37 acre urban development in Chicago. Tribune Media announced plans for the site in October 2017. The site currently features a printing plant leased by the Chicago Tribune from Tribune Media and has been publicly discussed as a potential site for redevelopment. The Planned Development for the site was approved by the city in October 2018, and in February 2019, Tribune Media listed the site for sale with Eastdil Secured. The company is currently in a joint venture agreement with Riverside Investment and Development for 7 of the 37 acres at 700 W. Chicago Avenue, the now-vacant site of the former Chicago Tribune insertion plant. A large city casino is envisioned for the area. The River District is one of several mega and large scale development projects over the last few years either completed, under construction, or planned in Chicago. Others include the Chicago Riverwalk, the 606, Lincoln Yards, The 78, St. Regis Chicago, One Chicago, Wolf Point Towers, Tribune East Tower, a city casino, an $8.5 billion revamp of O'Hare International Airport, an extension of the Red Line subway/elevated train, and the Barack Obama Presidential Center among other projects.

Blommer Chocolate Company is an integrated chocolate manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, and it is considered to be the largest chocolate-ingredient supplier in North America. It was also the largest and oldest independent cocoa bean processor in North America prior to its acquisition by Fuji Oil Holdings, Inc. in 2018. More than 45% of cocoa beans processed in the United States are processed (into cocoa butter, cocoa solids and chocolate liquor) by Blommer; about 70% of their business is supplying chocolate to various branded companies for use in those companies' own products.Blommer was founded in 1939 by the Blommer brothers, Henry, Al, and Bernard. The family and company name is pronounced "Blummer". In 2018, the company was sold to Fuji Oil Holdings Inc. for $750 million. After the transaction, the Blommer family and senior management continued to lead the company.

The J. P. Smith Shoe Company Plant is a historic factory building at the corner of North Sangamon Avenue and West Huron Street in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The factory was built in 1911-12 for the J. P. Smith Shoe Company, Chicago's second-largest maker of shoes at the time. Horatio R. Wilson, a prolific local architect, designed the building. Wilson's design used metal sash windows to provide light and ventilation to workers, putting it at the forefront of a national trend in industrial construction. The emphasis on proper lighting was a recurring theme in Wilson's work, as he had also designed some of Chicago's first apartments with sun parlors. The design also used brickwork to add decorative features, such as piers and a cornice, to an otherwise functional and unadorned design.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 14, 1985.

Coyne College is a private for-profit college in Chicago, Illinois. It was founded in 1899 and will close in March of 2022.

Rive Gauche Nightclub, open late 1999 to mid-2005, was a popular nightclub located in the River West district near Chicago's Greektown neighborhood, and the Loop. Rive Gauche is a French title meaning Left Bank, an appropriate name for a nightclub that had a unique Parisian theme, despite it being located on the right bank of the Chicago River. Rive Gauche is simply known as Rive by Chicago’s nightclub enthusiast community.

The Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is a Chicago based non-profit gallery known for elevating women and non-binary artists through exhibitions, membership, and community dialogue programs. Woman Made's vision is to ensure the equal placement of women's art in the art world. WMG is Chicago's longest-operating feminist art gallery and one of the leading organizations promoting women's art in the US.Founded in 1992, by Kelly Hensen and Beate Minkovski, Woman Made Gallery has hosted nearly 400 exhibitions and has exhibited more than 9,000 women artists.The gallery has been associated with artists like Judy Chicago and Faith Ringgold.

Fulton River District is a Chicago neighborhood located on the edge of Chicago's downtown, northwest of the Loop. The district is bounded by the Chicago River to the east, the Kennedy Expressway to the west, Ohio Street to the north and Madison Street to the south, making it part of the Near West Side and West Town community areas of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, United States. Just across the expressway to the west is the Fulton Market District (Fulton Market). Money magazine ranked the neighborhood as #4 best place to live in the United States in 2019.
