Kunsthallen Nikolaj

Nikolaj Plads (lit. "Nicolas' Square") is a public square located at the foot of the former St Nicolas' Church (Danish: Nikolaj Kirke), just off Strøget, in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. Most of the buildings that line the square date from the rebuilding of the surrounding neighbourhood in the years after the Copenhagen Fire of 1795. The square is a quiet alternative to the much busier squares Amagertorv and Højbro Plads. The former church houses an exhibition space and a restaurant with outdoor service and a small playground is also located at the site.

Nikolaj Plads 32, also known as Sankt Nicolai Hus, is a property situated on the west side of Nikolaj Plads in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was shortly thereafter acquired by the bookseller Abraham Soldin who in partnership with his brother Salomon Soldin ran a bookshop and publishing business from the premises. The venture was later continued by his son Ferdinand Vilhelm Soldenfeldt as F. V. Soldenfeldt. The building is today owned by Borgervennen, a fraternal society founded in 1788, now based in the apartment on the first floor. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.

It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. A plaque on the chamfered corner of the building commemorates that Louis Pio spoke to the crowds in Lille Kirkestræde from a window on the second floor on the night before the so-called Battle of the Common (Slaget på Fælleden) on 5 May 1872.

It was built for the same company as the nearby Sundorph House (Ved Stranden 10) and was originally used for storing tea. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 5 March 1945 and is now owned by Bent Fabricius-Bjerre and his two sons through the real estate company Metorion..

Hotel Royal is a former hotel located at the corner of Ved Stranden and Fortunstræde in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The hotel existed from 1798 until 1876 and the building has later housed a newspaper publishing house and the Danish Society of Engineers. The listed, Neoclassical building is now home to Nordic Council's operations in Denmark. It fronts Slotsholmens Kanal and is located opposite Christiansborg Palace on Slotsholmen.
