Lille Kirkestræde 1

Hotel Royal is a former hotel located at the corner of Ved Stranden and Fortunstræde in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The hotel existed from 1798 until 1876 and the building has later housed a newspaper publishing house and the Danish Society of Engineers. The listed, Neoclassical building is now home to Nordic Council's operations in Denmark. It fronts Slotsholmens Kanal and is located opposite Christiansborg Palace on Slotsholmen.

It was, like most of the other buildings in the area, constructed as part of the rebuilding of the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1795. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. Former residents include the theatrical scenic painter Christian Ferdinand Christensen.

The Grandjean House (Danish: Grandjeans Gård) is a Late Neoclassical property consisting of two separate buildings, one at Bredgade 4 and one at Store Strandstræde 3, on opposite side of a central courtyard, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The property is separated from Kongens Nytorv by a small building that now houses Copenhagen Amber Museum. It was built in 1854 by the architect Christian Tybjerg for pastry chef Christian Bredo Grandjean. It replaced an older building, which was known as the Collin House after Hans Christian Andersen patron Jonas Collin, but this name is now associated with another building in Amaliegade. The Grandjean House was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1959.

It dates from the building boom which followed after the Copenhagen Fire of 1795 but takes its name from the poet, publisher and politician Carl Ploug who lived there in the 1860s and 1870s and also published the newspaper Fædrelandet from the premises.

The Collin House (Danish: Den Collinske Gård) is a listed Neoclassical property at Amaliegade No. 9 in the Frederiksstaden district of central Copenhagen, Denmark. It takes its name after Jonas Collin, a prominent civil servant and leading patrons of the arts during the Danish Golden Age, who owned the building from 1838 to 1861. He was a close friend and loyal supporter of Hans Christian Andersen who often visited the house.

Fortunstræde 1 is a Neoclassical property situated at the corner of Fortunstræde and Admiralgade, opposite the former St. Nicolas' Church, now Kunsthallen Nikolaj, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was like most of the other buildings in the area constructed after the Copenhagen Fire of 1795. It was shortly thereafter acquired by the bookseller Abraham Soldin who in partnership with his brother Salomon Soldin ran a bookshop and publishing business from the premises. The venture was later continued by his son Ferdinand Vilhelm Soldenfeldt as F. V. Soldenfeldt. The building is today owned by Borgervennen, a fraternal society founded in 1788, now based in the apartment on the first floor. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.

The tower offers some of the best views of the city centre.
